Breakfast at the Hotel Zoo Berlin is served in the modern dining room for a surcharge, which is decorated in crisp white with sleek, high-backed dark wooden chairs, and colourful movie prints adorning the walls in recognition of the Hotel Zoo's history as official hotel of the Berlin Film Festival in the 1950s.
The hotel has three conference rooms and a large banquet room which can be used for a range of events. The lobby provides a good meeting point, and a place to relax on the suede chairs and sofa browsing the complimentary newspapers.
The concierge can advise on local attractions and arrange city sightseeing tours. The parking garage (surcharge) provides direct access to the hotel.

The Hotel Zoo Berlin has 136 rooms spread over six floors, some with views of the inner courtyard and others with views of the Kurfürstendamm. Guestrooms have carpeted floors, full-length mirrors, and include laptop-compatible safes, satellite television, and minibars.

Berlin's central park, the Tiergarten, is located 700 metres from the hotel. From the Tiergarten, joggers and walkers can follow the Spree Canal which leads towards the Chancellery and the Reichstag. The Volkspark Wilmersdorf is 2.5 kilometres south of the hotel and offers opportunities for jogging, walking, and tennis.

“great place/great location”
Hotel Zoo Berlin is located on the Ku-Damm near the Berlin Zoo and a short taxi ride (or bus if you wish) from Tegel airport. Right across the street there is a stop for the city tour bus and a pick up point for other tours. There are restaurants, stores and museums within walking distance and the bus and metro stations within the block. The location is awesome, the hotel staff was extremely helpful and multi-lingual. The room was spacious and comfortable. We would stay here again without hesitation.

“Nice looks, but the rooms are not that nice”
Nice looking hotel at the heart of Berlin. The lobby and front of the building suggest more than you'll get. The rooms are old fashioned, not 4 star material as they promote. Breakfast was okay, you'd better go eat out.
“Great Place in Berlin”
This is an excellent hotel. The location on Ku'Damm is perfect. Savigny Platz is just around the corner as is the Am Zoo train station from which many walking tours depart. Hotel staff were friendly and helpful throughout my stay. My room was very spacious and comfortable. I look forward to returning.

I would stay there again. Front desk staff was very helpful. Room was spacious - bathroom was small, but sufficient. Close to train stations and lots of shopping and cafes within walking distance.
“great location,tasty breakfast,but all te rest is ..disaster”
Located on KU'DAMM, so this is great.BUT room stinks,there are stains on the floor,no toiletries in the bathroom, only hair-hands-body wash ,(3 in one, you can imagine the quality),so bring your own. Looks like the last repairs were ages ago.Breakfast was tasty,but you had to struggle to get,first, the table, then the plate, the glass, the napkins.And they wouldn't even clean up the table between the clients.all this is strange for the FOUR stars.

Good central location to travel around berlin.

We had a very pleasant stay in a quiet, clean room. Breakfast, discounted to 11 Euros if payed up front on the first day, was more than ample and excellent. Location could not be better.
