Room was clean, spacious, and comfortable. Building was a little quirky and old but not a big deal. Breakfast was good. Located right next to an U-Bahn station and not too far from the S-Bahn.

Really enjoyed our stay
Very nice Pension in the heart of the City’s west end. Nice breakfast, comfortable room and beds. On street parking, close to public transport and all the shops anyone could ever need on the Ku’damm! Really enjoyed our stay ,-)

Older hotel in a good location, just a few metres from the metro station. Large room and bathroom. Refrigerator and TV available. Internet connection worked well. Simple but sufficient breakfast. My only comment would be about the not very comfortable beds and creaking parquet floors. All in all, good value for money.

Pleasant one night stay
I've stayed at this pension/hotel many times, but not for about eight years. It is good value for the money and conveniently located. Check in was very smooth. No fancy, but a very solid choice for the modest price.

Very accommodating , arrived late and they had left key for me. Clean , spacious room , fresh linen and towels. Nice and quiet and good breakfast. Ideally located for public transport and all main areas of Berlin. Would certainly stay again.

I love that the hotel was in an old building that has been there since the second world war. The elevator was the old style that has manual open and close doors, though the operation of the elevator itself has been upgraded. The room was very clean and the staff was very courteous. We were surprised by the temperatures in Berlin as they were experiencing record highs during our visit and the Expedia site listed AC as an amenity that was not actually available the the guest rooms. But being able to actually open the windows made it bearable.

2 nights in Berlin
Nice hotel that has free breakfast for people who are on a budget. Shared toilet outside your room but you get a shower and a sink in your room. About 20 minutes from all the action in downtown Berlin but there are tons of shops and restaurants nearby to the hotel. Definitely would stay here again if traveling to Berlin.

Old but once got used to it's value for money
The room was old and the light was not bright enough. We took some time to get used to the in-room shower only 'box'. Nonetheless, after a day we're okay with it and the price we paid was good enough for a few nights of good rest. I must also mention that the complimentary breakfast was really tasty and the century year-old elevator in the building was a tremendous enjoyment to ride every time.

A cheap and cheerful hotel. Staff are very helpful, the place is old, but comfortable and clean. Local area is very quiet and safe, u-bahn is nearby and a nice shopping area is a 5 minute walk away.

Elevator did not work, I went up every day 3 floors of course also with the suitcase The food is varied and tasty, and those who come after 9 have no food The people at reception are very nice I asked for 2 single beds and I got a double bed the safe does not work

Not too far from being excellent
Our stay here was neither amazing nor disappointing, certainly on the positive side. The location is well placed, in a quiet and clean neighborhood, relatively close to the center, many quick transport options. The room was clean and spacious but the windows did not close tightly, the wooden floor was crackling, the water temperature was hard to fix, and the towels changed only once in 5 days. The receptionist was ok. Good and varied breakfast, lack of whole fruits. The dining room was small, lack of music or at least a TV, the overworked and strained staff.

Clean hotel with great location
Very cozy and clean with a friendly staff. If you don’t care for any extra attractions like gym or bar, this place is definitely worth a try.

Good location,close to Uand S bahn. Hotel is clean
No reception after 8pm. If arriving after this time hotel will give you code for front door and room key. Breakfast was basic but ample.Comfortable room.

Im Zimmer war es sehr warm, weil man die Heizung nicht ausschalten konnte. Leider war es während des gesamten Aufenthaltes so. Im Badezimmer sollte man die Fenster nicht öffnen. Sie sind total verwittert. Im Schlafraum waren die Fenster nicht besser. Haben wir trotzdem vorsichtig geöffnet, da bei der Hitze im Raum kein Schlafen möglich war. Das Frühstück war spärlich. Am 1. Tag waren wir kurz vor neun Uhr morgens dort. 2 Scheiben braune Äpfel. Alles. Brötchenauswahl war nicht. Toastbrot und süße Brötchen gab es noch. Am 2. Tag haben wir woanders gefrühstückt. Am 3. Tag waren wir kurz vor um halb acht im Frühstücksraum, da waren ein paar friche Sc heiben Äpfel und Orangen vorhanden und Vollkornbrot. Wir werden in das Hotel nie wieder gehen und Expedia brauchen wir auch nicht.

Preis-Leistungsverhältnis ist voll in Ordnung, alles in die Jahre gekommen, aber das Personal ist freundlich, das Frühstück solide, das Bettzeug sauber, gute Erreichbarkeit, allerdings wird parken zum Thema, wenn man einen Platz findet, dann 2€/Stunde Parkgebühr, akt. von 9-19, das muss mit berücksichtigt werden

Cost effective hotel, with breakfast, at a reasonable spot near Kurfürstendamm in Berlin. The building and facilities are pretty much in (dire) need of some renovation, but still functional with a touch of run down charm.

Renovierung bedürftig…. Bad Fuß kacheln sind kaputt daher Barfuß nicht zu empfehlen. Bettgestell sollte zwei Tischlampe vorhanden sein, leider nur einen . Die Wände sind schon veraltet , daher vieles Kleinigkeiten sollte Renovieren bedürftig sein ! Möbel sind die 70er Jahre rum gekommen …. Etwas schade…. Buffet ist einfach top ….
