“Hotel Lindner in Berlin”

This was a very nice business hotel near the Zoo Garten and near the bus stop to the airport - the stop coming in from the airport is down about half a block.

Area recommendations

There are many different neighborhoods all with their own distinctive flavor. Berlin is a wonderful City. Near the Zoo Garten and Kurfustendam the shops are open and many people are out till 8:30 pm or so. It feels very comfortable and safe.

“Would love to go back!”

Very close to shopping, trains, food, etc. I would recommend this place to others and would love to go back!

Area recommendations

There are many good areas in Berlin and I am still investigating! I have done concert trips, walking trips, museum trips, and this last trip was for Christamas shopping. I also have friends who live in Berlin. I would love to go back and I my do a museum trip with more food testing next. One can't do everything in one trip!

Events and shows

I remember one trip I made in 2005 to see two concerts and they were at the Wuhlheide which is in the middle of a forest and I went there by public transit. Awesome park and show! Many Berlin shows are the best!

“Good reasonably-priced hotel near Ku'damm”

The location is excellent, just 20m from the Ku'damm, and maybe 100m from the U-Bahn (200m from the S-Bahn at Zoologischer Garten). Prices are reasonable, rooms petite but modern and clean, and staff very helpful.

Area recommendations

There's so much to do in this cultural city - some of the best museums and galleries in the world for a start. Everyone knows about the Museuminsel ('Museum Island'), but I recommend the Hamburger Bahnhof near the Hauptbahnhof, the Neue Nationalgalerie near Potsdamer Platz, or Kunstwerke near Weinmeisterstrasse U-Bahn.

“GREAT Hotel”

Both the room and the hotel itself were wonderful. The location is fantastic--close to everything and public transportation practically next door. The only negative I can think of is-no breakfast. Personnel all very accomodating and helpful.

“Great Location”

Easy to get to any nice place to stay. Only complaint is no Wifi available for use with Iphone. They usually charge 8 euro an hour to use a computer but since they were having a problem with the one for quests they let us use theirs to make a couple of quick emails.

“A Push”

The place is nice. The rooms were clean, the staff was mostly friendly, and the location was good. A few things, however, were a turn-off. For example, the bathroom in the room we stayed at did not have a door, and if I was traveling with anybody other than my girlfriend, that could have been awkward.

“Perfect for anyone look for clean room, good price, central location”

We stayed at this hotel in May of 2009 and it was all we could ask for. The price was great for a mid-range clean hotel. The location was great and it was only a few blocks from the U and S bauns making it accessable from anywhere. Great location in the center of it all.
