“An ideal city break hotel”

Really good hotel to stay in for both business and a city-break. Close to Stadmitte U-Bahn (pretty much next door) and Potsdamer Platz, so don't worry too much about transport to and from airports. There is a very nearby supermarket, which can save the costs of mini-bar lapses and provide food for a good breakfast! A delightful pub around the back of the hotel called Maximillians for proper German food and drink, other than that there aren't too many close by, would recommend heading to Alexander Platz which is a couple of stops of the U-Bahn for a wide selection of pubs. Perfect location really and very good service from an English speaking staff team : )

This hotel was great. The staff were friendly and helpful and the room was really nice but a little cold. The hotel is very close to lots of attractions and the metro is nearby.

Ideally located for Checkpoint Charlie, but also within walking distance of Unter Den Linden, Brandenberg Gate etc. The gem was less than five minutes walk to Gendarmenmarkt Square - probably one of the most beautiful in Europe; lots of good restaurants and Fassbender & Rauss chocolatiers (the most delicious hot chocolate I have ever had in my life!!!!!!!) Hotel staff could not have been more helpful- minor fault with lamp fixed within minutes of reporting. Top Tip -if you want to go up the TV tower book ahead. We did - and avoided a two hour wait to go up. Book VIP tickets online (only 8 euros more) and you get first available table in the revolving restaurant.

“Pleasantly surprised”

At first I was a little upset because I had reserved a non-smoking room, but they said all the non-smoking rooms were full. They gave me an upgraded room, which turned out to be very nice. There was no smell of smoke and the room was exceptionally clean. I would easily recommend this hotel to others. It is very conveniently located in the heart of Berlin.

We really enjoyed our short visit to Berlin. It was nice to stay in a hotel that was near most major sites. We drove so we used the hotel parking garage that was located under the hotel, but you could also reach the hotel via U bahn with no problems (right around the coner). The cost of the hotel is reasonable for a large city but food at the hotel is expensive, although no more so then other hotels in the area. We chose to eat breakfast on our own and saved a bunch.

Excellent hotel. Clean, modern, friendly staff. Very well located just a couple of blocks away from Checkpoint Charlie. Gym small but well equipped for a work-out while travelling. Highly recommended.

Easy check in Expensive minibar,what looks like a complimentary bottle of water is actually €7 Wellness centre was good Location central and perfect Breakfast was expensive,so many local places instead Could do with a couple of better English TV stations Overall a good stay but the duvets will be my lasting memory never seen such small duvets on a big bed, needed a second one from housekeeper
