“Novotel Berlin Tiergarten”

This is a first rate hotel for both business and pleasure. It is well positioned beside an S Bahn station with a good choice of lines to the the City Centre and the Zoo Area, (which is within easy walking distance). Some may find the distance from the centre a disadvantage, but it is in a very pleasant area of Berlin, particularly in the summer when the Tiergarten is at its best. It is well run - the helpful staff being a reflection of effective management. In the round, thoroughly recommended

“Great hotel, fun city”

Don't believe people who tell you everyone speaks English in Berlin-I was so glad I studied basic tourist expressions on CD. Many cab drivers spoke no English at all. We found the food to be very good everywhere-even the cheap meals! Must do: 4 hour Segway tour around Berlin, our guide Mariette was fantastic and we saw at least 20 highlights of the city,it gave us a great overview and was loads of fun.The best money we spent! Don't miss Sachsenhausen concentration camp-they have headphones so you don't have to take a tour, but if you cab there,be sure to say concentration camp because there is a Sachsenhausen 4 hours away. 4 cabbies in a row told us it was too far until I figured it out. The zoo is the best I have seen anywhere in the world - don't miss the lions gnawing on raw meat five feet from you. Animals looked healthy and were actually chasing each other around. Saw white wolves devour a bird that flew into their area. Botanical garden was lovely. Tiergarten flea market on the weekends definitely worth a visit. Photography museum with Helmut Newton exhibit was great. Ganymede Restaurant on the Spree was great if you're craving French food. 12 Apostles great for pizza. Public transportation was cheap and efficient, cabs pricey but sometimes you need them! Pergammon museum worth a quick visit.Berlin wall art gallery amazing. If you're young, the club scene at night is WOW! Don't bother to gou out before midnight, though, and plan to get back with the dawn. Berlin=fun!

“Good price, great hotel”

Stayed at the Novotel hotel for a mini break in Berlin in a family room. Three nights B&B. Breakfast is fantastic and well worth adding as part of the package. Hotel staff helpful and they all speak English fluently! Only downside was parking which cost 16 euros a day - whilst there is parking outside, it is not really available. Otherwise, would recommend to anyone. Can walk to Brandenburg Gate (approx 4k), but fantastic walk.

“Excellent Hotel”

We stayed at the Novotel Berlin Tiergarten for 2 nights. We traveled with our 2 small kids and this hotel was the perfect choice because they don't pay extra our room included a sofa bed (something very hard to come-by in Berlin). The hotel's location is great, very close to Berlin's main attractions and right across from the S-Bahn. The room we stayed at was small but very well laid-out and included a safe, mini-bar, TV, high-speed Internet (for a fee), new furniture, and other items commonly found in hotel rooms.

“Great Value for a Beautiful Hotel with Luxury Amenities”

I am a frequent traveler. Found this hotel to have beautiful and comfortable rooms and common areas. Hip, modern look, with luxe amenities. Short taxi ride from airport and 50 meters from subway (5 minutes or 3 stops to the center of everything). Based on the experience, I would definitely stay again.

I enjoyed staying in this hotel. Ile location was very goog just next to the train station. Nearby the tiergarten. It is good for family. Nice breakfast.I would book again in this hotel if I am going back to Berlin
