Central location, no fuss, would recommend.

Posted Oct 18, 2014
Pros: Central location.
Cons: Bar prices are very steep!
Location: Central, next to two underground stops, short walk from museum island.
Close to the museum island and lots of restaurants and cafe's. Friendly staff, spacious rooms, clean and well-priced. Would definitely recommend.

Great staff and amenities

Posted Oct 6, 2014
Pros: Staff, public areas, room comfort, value for money.
Cons: Bathroom door, desk lighting, bar prices.
Great location, 50m from a tube station. Very welcoming and helpful receptionist. Bright and airy public areas, comfortable bed and spacious room. Everything was very clean and kept that way. Nice toiletries. Bathroom door though was translucent with a large hole for the handle, not good for privacy. There should have been a light on or over the desk in the room for working at, and the hotel bar prices were quite high. Overall though, I'd recommend the hotel, but would suggest you drink elsewhere and only stay in a room with someone you know really well !!

Dont make my mistake..stay away

Posted Sep 29, 2014
This is by far the worst hotel ive ever stayed in in my life..by the way..the rooms look NOTHING likecthe pictures.. the first day i arrived they gave me a smelly room..so i asked for a differnt room..and instead of bringing me the card key to another room up to where i was staying, they asked ME to go down and take the key.. The second room wasnt smelly..but there was loud annoying noise coming out of the bathroom..i complained and they sent me the maintanance guy..fixed the issue and left.. At SIX am, the loud noise came back and woke me up..i called the front desk, apparently the "guy in charge" thought it was funny...and told me maintanance guy comes at 8 or 8:30 and i had to put up with the noise even though i told him i couldnt sleep cuz of the noise..eventually he sent me the house keeping lady who broke the nob to the bathroom heater..and noise stopped.. The room is filthy..spots everywhere..mold in the bathroom..the sink is paryially clogged and water overflows quickly..the bathroom amenities r cheap and they basically fill up the tiny vessels with the same liquid and give it different names: shampoo..shower gel..etc.. The furniture is dated..not how it looks in the pictures for sute.. Just save ur money and go somewhere else..

Nice hotel, walking distance to the U2 line

Posted Sep 23, 2014
We stayed here for 3 nights. The location is great, its about 20 mins walk to Alexanderplatz. We also walked to the Pergamon musueum. The access to the U2 line makes for an easy access to other Berlin sights.

Nice Hotel in Mitte

Posted Sep 15, 2014
We really enjoyed our stay at Park Plaza Hotel. It was really clean and comfortable. The staff were helpful and friendly. The location was in a quiet area, but within walking distance to shopping and restaurants, as well as close to a few subway stations. We would definitely stay here again on our next visit.

City centre hotel!

Posted Sep 9, 2014
Pros: Location, style, value.
Location: Very close to Alexanderplatz, and within walking distance of all the main central sites.
Arrived at the hotel- got checked straight in- went for an evening stroll and realised just how convenient and central it is. The staff were very friendly, particularly the barman Max! The rooms were clean, simple and had very large bathrooms which was great. The wi-fi worked well as did the air con. Only down side was that we only had breakfast at the hotel on the last day and I can honestly say I have stayed in many 5 star establishments but this breakfast buffet was the best by far! Fantastic selection, clean and friendly. Will definately stay there again in future.

Pros: location
Clean rooms, shower leaked on the floor. Bathroom door didn't close shut, space left open, no privacy. One elevator very slow

Very good hotel

Posted Aug 12, 2014
The location of the hotel is excellent, next to U-2. Between Mitte & Kroizberg. The room was spacious and the living room is seperated from the bath and toilet. The staff was friendly and helpful. We didn't eat at the hotel and it seemed too expensive to us. The only problem is the splashing water every time you take a shower because the glass which cover the bath is not completely sealed.

Comfortable hotel in nice quiet area

Posted Jul 27, 2014
Beautiful comfortable modern room. Comfortable bed and excellent shower room. Aircon is ok and tv is good. Quiet hotel in a lovely quiet location.. 15 min walk to main area of Berlin .. But lots of nice restaurants around Mitte area. Staff were pleasant but sometimes preoccupied and you need to ask for attention. It's near an underground station so is always handy if you feeling lazy to walk. I recommend staying on upper floors for it's quieter for there is a restaurant at the ground floor of hotel and a bar.. Which are open late at night. Customers might stay late and you will hear noise if you're on lower level of hotel.
