Great hotel with very welcoming staff.

Posted Aug 18, 2014
Pros: The staff and facilities.
Location: Minutes away from K'damm and the KaDeWe and very central for transport links. Five minutes walk from the Tiergarten and a very safe area.
Made a great stay for a special weekend away. The breakfast is lovely, spa facilities are fab and it's a lovely place to relax and unwind.

Quiet Hotel in a Pleasing Location

Posted Aug 18, 2014
Pros: A nice touch was the bowl of apples on the Reception desk, giving us a refreshing snack during the course of the day.
Cons: Nothing springs to mind.
Location: The zoo close by would be good for families and there is a concert hall close by. The Tiergarten is also close by as was the "broken-tooth" church.
We, my wife and me, wanted a hotel within walking distance of central Berlin with the advantage of a quiet location. Relaxing evenings after a day of foot slogging sightseeing were important and this hotel provided us with that. The pool proved a cooling facility during what seemed to us a pervasive hot spell of weather and an evening beer or two in the bar were most welcome. I was particularly impressed on arriving at the notel to be given our room straight away even though we were almost three hours earlier than our booking-in time. After an early start to catch our flight this was particularly welcome. The staff were friendly and efficient throughout our stay. The room was comfortable and clean, with a view over trees towards the impressive sunset.

Excellent hotel but initial problem on arrival.

Posted Aug 17, 2014
Pros: The facilities were all good. Particularly nice swimming pool, gym and sauna.
Cons: Nothing other than initial problem with room allocation.
Location: Excellent location. Only a short walk to main shopping area, restaurants and night life.
Excellent hotel let down by no room being available on arrival despite booking months in advance. We arrived to be informed that our room was still occupied by guests who should have left several hours ago. On querying why they had not left by the checkout time, we were met with a shrug of the shoulders by the receptionist and told there was nothing that could be done! After a lengthy wait, we were allocated a room but this was not an impressive start to a holiday in a 5 star hotel. Otherwise, the hotel met our expectations.

Lovely hotel

Posted Aug 10, 2014
My son & I stayed at the Pullman for five nights. I found the staff to be extremely polite, helpful and conscientious. The room was spacious, very comfortable & clean. Two gripes - at €24 per person, breakfast is expensive. The other gripe relates to wifi. If you're going to include wifi don't offer premium & free services. Just provide one decent service and build into the costs

Berlin short stay.

Posted Aug 9, 2014
Pros: Pool, gym.
Location: Near Zoo & Aquarium. Lots of very good restaurants within a short walk.
Very good attentive staff. Bit of a walk if using U Bahn. Rooms at rear can get a bit of early morning noise.

Great hotel with a lovely location.

Posted Jul 30, 2014
Pros: Location and facilities.
Location: Zoo is a few minutes walk, along with great shops and eateries. The 200 bus takes you into the centre of Berlin for the "historical" sites.
Great hotel. Lovely spa area, steam room and sauna with a great pool and gym. Rooms were spacious and had everything needed including a nespresso coffee machine. We were on the 6th floor with beautiful tree views. The spa/pool/gum and steam and sauna were a lovely retreat after hot days walking/exploring Berlin. Our 15 year old shared the room with us. Bathrobes and slippers were provided in the room for use to the spa area. Great price and value for money booked through Expedia.

Really nice pool, great deal on suite

Posted Jul 21, 2014
Got great deal on suite at this exceptional hotel. Room had wonderful view of park with open windows, free stuff in frig with suite. Pool is fantastic-large-great to get into after long days of sight seeing. Near shopping street, 4th largest zoo in world, and amazing old masters art museum. 3 miles from Brandenberg gate. My only concern was pricey restaurant.. but just go across the street for wonderful croissants, fresh orange juice and great cappuccino. I have traveled everywhere... I do not give 5's easily. .

Great Service and Good Location.

Posted Jul 17, 2014
Pros: Service, service, service. Great staff.
Cons: Maybe freshen up the lobby.
Location: See above.
Service was really terrific, best we experienced over the course of our 2 week trip to Europe staying at other 5 star hotels. Location is pretty good, probably some better locations, but will cost a lot more--short U-Bahn or bus ride to everything you want to see in the city.

Great for central West Berlin

Posted Jul 16, 2014
Pros: The staff are very friendly and I never heard them say no. They even have children sized bathrobes and slippers, on request. Good pool and gym too.
Cons: We stayed their for 8 days and 7 nights. Throughout this time the only small issue we had was the shower temperature was a little erratic. That's it!
Location: This hotel is in a great spot for central Berlin. Both Zoo (S and U-Bahn) and Wittenberg Platz (U-Bahn) stations are within walking distance too.
Overall, this was a great hotel with all of the functionality that you would expect at the top-end. On site parking is available, both self and valet... at a cost. We didn't use the restaurant or bar as, due to location, there were plenty off-site options available. Throughout the 8 days we never ate in the same place twice. There is also a taxi rank right at the front-door, if the need arises... which it probably won't as walking is so easy from here.
