“weekend break”
Had an excellent stay. Fish tank is stunning. Asked for cathedral view and it was right across the river from our window. Requested teapot, fresh milk and teabags as was expecing tea and coffee facilities and it was rather slow arriving, otherwise 5 * service. We could not have a late check out which would have been useful and when we were sitting in reception waiting to depart for airport at 6 pm other people did seem to have that opportunity, maybe our room was in demand. We used the pool and steam room. Hot breakfast rather tepid but the rest was so excellent did not have hot after first morning. Great location for seeing Berlin.
“Radisson blu Berlin, great location”
Great location, rooms & service. Good transport links from nearby s bahn station. Very friendly and professional staff. Well worth a visit
“Excellent hotel”
Lovely hotel, central aquarium is a bit hard to view from ground level but the lift waiting areas give better views for guests (must have a room key to access lifts). Taking the lift to the Dom lounge give good views down on the aquarium. The room was an executive room with a view over the cathedral, beautiful views and the balcony was great (though not all have balconys and i think its a request thing). All amenities you could expect, though for such a great hotel little things were missing such as extractor fans in the bathroom and milk for the coffee machine, very minor things. Has a great location next to all the major sights, just a 20 minute walk to the Brandenburg Gate.
“Best Hotel reception”
Reception aquarium is stunning, very pleasant area to sip your cocktails! Heat restaurant is excellent, high quality food. Spa area very pleasant and hotel is in a great location.
“Would love to go back”
Great hotel. The huge aquarium in the lobby is stunning and best viewed from the glass elevators. Room was stylish and comfortable, only complaint was that our double bed was two singles pushed together. The Well Being centre was wonderful at the end of a hard day's sightseeing - pool and sauna luxurious and not crowded. The Atrium Bar does great cocktails and free nibbles.
“Central locale”
This hotel, in the middle of town , was comfortable, clean, and comes with good service. It is close to many dining options and a tour headquarters but is not close to any shopping. The famed aquarium is quite a sight in the lobby! The room was an executive type, which overlooks the river and the Berlin Cathedral and the museums. Typical European size, beds were very cozy and there was free internet with an adapter for your computer needs and the included breakfast was very good.
“Great hotel in Berlin”
Wonderful location for a short sightseeing break in Berlin. Clean, good service throughout and fantastic breakfast. It is lovely to watch the fish too, though be aware that if your room faces inwards, there is a lift going up and down in the aquarium for most of the day
“Great hotel in perfect position”
Hotel was excellent, a real experience. Food was excellent in the Heat restaurant. All the staff were friendly and helpful. The Bar staff were very professional but the drinks were a bit pricey.
“Superb hotel, would definately stay here again”
I've just returned from my hen party in Berlin and the Radisson Blu hotel exceeded the expectations of all 16 of my party. The hotel is ideally situated and walking distance from museum island and Alexanderplatz. There are many bars and restaurants in the surrounding area to accomodate all tastes. The hotel itself was stylish, clean and comfortable. The hotel staff were cheerful, polite and friendly. The only small gripe I have is the bar prices in the lobby. As we were spread over multiple floors, we tended to congregate in the lobby before leaving the hotel. We ordered some drinks while waiting for the rest of the party and were shocked at the prices - 10 Euro's for a single Baileys, 11 Euro's for a Pims & Lemonade! One other small issue is that the sauna/steam area has a list of rules and one of them is that no clothes or bathing costumes are to be worn, i.e. it is strictly a naked sauna. I still cannot understand why this rule is in place? We were British enough to flout it!! Overall though, the gripes are small and I would recommend this hotel to anyone. It's fabulous.
“Perfect Luxury base in beautiful Berlin”
Travelled to Berlin with my partner for his birthday in April and thoroughly enojyed our stay at the Radisson. Rooms are spacious and luxurious and service was great.
