“Great location, but eat elsewhere!”

The room was fine, the service was fine, the price was right. Walk part of a block down Kantstrasse for bus X34 or M49 to Zoologischer Garten, where you can get anywhere else in Berlin.

My wife and I were very satisfied with the hotel and would certainly stay there again.

Comfortable room. Quiet. Clean. Good breakfast. Attentive staff. Well situated. All in all, a good experience.

Spent 4 nights at this elegant hotel, front desk staff helpful and polite, room was huge with very comfortable bed. It's idealy located, close to shops & restaurants. Perfect would definately go back.

“Simple affordable and clean”

I was over here for the Berlin Half Marathon and stayed over the weekend. I found the hotel was a classic German hotel - clean, functional and in good working order. The room was clean and the decor was in good condition. The shower was fantastic and there was loads of hot water. The location is round the corner from the S Bahn and transport hubs and I'd be more than happy to stay at the Savoy again.

“A homely hotel in a great location”

The hotel is in a great location for shopping. The room was beautiful although the bathroom needed refurbishment. But, saying that it was perfectly adequate.

“Great location, nice hotel, good vaule”

I stayed at the Savoy for 4 nights in April'09. I found the accommodation comfortable, clean and large for European standard. I traveled alone and had requested a larger bed and higher floor. I got queen bed on the top floor. The sheets were luxurious, though the room could use a good reading lamp by the bed side. I wish the spa would have wet sauna. The location is superb, close to major train and bus stations, and only 2 blocks from Kurfurstendamm. I highly recommend this hotel.

Nice older hotel, good location, great staff, good restaurant, comfortable rooms but no A/C.

“Better than expected!”

I can't believe the great deal that I got on this hotel. It felt like a five star hotel. The service was exceptional, the room was immaculate, and the location was perfect. I was able to walk to public transportation and there were plenty of wonderful little restaurants nearby. The lobby is attached to a cigar lounge which also serves alcohol. I enjoyed the convenience of having a bar/lounge onsite. I was also pleased that even though my room was on the first floor, the cigar smell did not drift to my room. My only complaint might have been due to the loud music that kept me awake on Saturday night. There was some sort of celebration going on in the reception area downstairs directly below my room. It stopped around 1AM though. Overall, I loved this hotel and would highly recommend it.

“Savoy”

Was a little hot in my room but nothing I couldn't handle. The hotel is superbly located. Easy walk from the train station where the bus from Tegel drops you off, and then it's about a 2 min walk to the main street of Ku'Damm. Couldn't ask for a better location. The staff at the hotel are very friendly and always helpful. If I was back in Berlin I'd have no hesitation staying here again.
