“Great service”

Really enjoyed our stay here, the staff in the hotel couldn't have been more helpful. There are two computers available behind the concierge desk with printers, extremely useful for leisure travellers who need to check an email, printing a map before you got out in the morning, or checking in online for your return flight.

“Execllent hotel and location”

This hotel is on the Kudamm and near bus, subway and rail. Only two blocks from the Zoo. Lots of restaurants to choose from nearby including the Literary Restaurant 3 blocks away and the San Moritz French-Mediteranian five block away for a great 7 course dinner. Staff couldn't have been better. Sanua, gym and bath have fruit juices and fruit for the guests.

“Wonderful place to stay”

A lovely, contemporary hotel, very centrally located (right on the Ku'damm, two blocks from Zoo station, in the heart of the former West Berlin). Rooms are large and comfortable with elegant modern decor, and bathrooms have tubs and separate glassed-in showers. Hotel staff is friendly and helpful and speaks impeccable English. Despite the late hour of our check-in we were greeted warmly and checked in promptly; the concierge walked us personally around the lobby to show us the amenities, gave us coupons for free drinks at the very cool, mellow lobby bar (where many guests were relaxing), and escorted us to the elevators. We only stayed one evening, and I'm sorry we couldn't have stayed longer!

“Superb modern hotel”

This hotel is well located and easy to reach from the airport. The hotel offers fantastic views along Ku'damm and it is worth booking a room with this. The room was modern, comfortable and clean. The bathroom was also gorgeous with separate bath and shower. However due to the strong Euro the hotel is fairly expensive to eat and drink at. Though there are lots of great places near by. P.s You must try a currywurst as they are yummy.

“excellent hotel”

This was a great place to stay, the cocktails are made with pride by the bar staff and worth every penny. We never got to try the food but the coffees served always came with home made chocolate and the rooms were lovely would go again.

“Fantastic Hotel at a great rate”

Swissotel Berlin is located along the Ku'damm with easy access to shopping and a short walk to KaDeWe. The hotel offers outstanding service, polite staff and comfortable and modern rooms. There are a number of great restaurants conveniently located close to the hotel, and easy access to the U-Bahn.

“Definitely would go back”

I was very satisfied with my stay in the Swisshotel. The staff were genuinely friendly and helpful. Usually, you can detect an attitude, or a "forced friendliness" by the staff, but this was not the case here... No problem with the cleanliness here. Put it this way...one night, I went out for a bite to eat. I came back 30 minutes later, and the place was cleaned up and the bed made!! It was like the cleaning lady was hiding in the closet!! The food was a bit pricey (21 Euros for breakfast). But it was all you could eat, and it was fantastic (especially the Berlin Meatballs). Even the room service was outstanding. A couple of other perks was the in room safe (easily programmable) and access to the tab of your bill on the TV (I could view day by day what bill I was running up from the mini-bar and the hotel meals) Two things that could use improving. The "business center" was actually just 2 PC's behind the concierge's desk. And the TV just had 3 English language stations (and they were all news). But I didn't go to Berlin to watch TV and surf the internet, so it was too much of a problem. Overall, I would definitely recommend this hotel because of the above. Also, it's yards away from the main drag (the Kurfurstendamm, the main shopping street in Berlin), plus just 200 yards from the Berlin Zoologischer train station, which is a main hub in the Berlin S-Bahn and U-Bahn.

“Can't wait to go back !!”

Stayed at this hotel Mar. 29-31, 2007. Excellent is the only way to describe it. The staff is tremendous. They go out of the way to make your stay comfortable. Where else are you going to find the desk clerk escorting you to the elevators ? The room was kept emaculate and the bed was turned down each night. Modern funishings. ' The hotel is in a perfect location. It is on the main shopping street. There are a million places to eat or just sit at a cafe with coffee or beer and watch the parade of people. The hotel is at a subway stop and also two blocks from where the X9 (express) bus from the airport drops you off (Zoo station . Easy and less expensive way into the city. I can't say enough good things about this hotel. I will stay there on my next visit.

“Great location”

Great location in West Berlin, close to shops, restaurants and train station. The hotel restaurant (Resto 44) is also great with great views of the surrounding. The separate elevator rides from the entrance to lobby and lobby to the room takes some time to get used to but the elevators are very fast, typical Swiss efficiency. The decoration throughout the lobby or hallway is airy and comtemporary.

“Berlin with style”

Really nice, classy hotel. The reception staff were very professional and helpful. Hotel bar very classy, but expensive (as per most hotels I suppose). The room was also very clean and well provided. I would definitely return here, if only for the nostalgia of getting to shop in the C&A directly below!
