“A very pleasant experience”

We had a really great stay. The service at this hotel is impeccable. I like to stay at upscale houses, but this one clearly stood out. The staff is not only super friendly and helpful, but also smart and unobtrusive. The breakfast buffett is hands down THE BEST i have seen in any 5 star hotel! For the price you are getting very much your moneys worth. The only thing I would like to see change is the TVs into a flatscreen. the rooms are huge, so the tiny old tv doesnt do any good =) But then again, theres so much to see all around and in the city, dont really need that. Will come back for sure.

“In the middle of everything you want to do in Berlin.”

This hotel caters to the business crowd, but it was great for a week long getaway as well. My wife and I found the staff to be eager to help, knowledgeable, and friendly. Rooms were terrific.

“Excellent Suites”

Hotel is hidden away from the street so its important to know the address. Inside the rooms are spacious with kitchenettes. We did not to the hotel breakfast but understand that it isn't cheap. Nor did we use the fitness facilities. The front desk has limited operating hours, so if you need something, you need to ask when someone is there. Overall, very comfortable and well-located in the Mitte section of Berlin. Stadt-Mitte station is right outside and Checkpoint Charlie is a few meters to the south. Walk to the Brandenburg Gate and Reichstag were not bad at all.

“Superb Central Berlin Location”

The first impression of the hotel is deceiving, being located within a larger office building, however once past the reception desk the hotel continues to please. Large spacious room, with full kitchen and large bath - not the usual for European hotels. But then again, this was a suite. The staff and the hotel made our stay in Berlin most enjoyable - despite the constant rain.

“Absolutely wonderful apartments”

The underground station is literally right outside the private entrance, which made getting around very easy. The staff are very friendly and helpful. The apartments are incredibly spacious inside and beautifully maintained. I will certainly be going back.

“Like a Downtown Condo”

The Mandala Suites feels more like a condo than a hotel. The "management suite" offers two huge rooms, a big walk-in area, kitchen, and a toilet separate from the bathroom. Cleanliness and maintenance were first rate. Great location for walking, subway access, shopping, and restaurants. Be sure to try the breakfast offering on the top floor.

“Great location”

Large clean suite with a kitchenette, great bathroom and comfortable bed. Easy walk to most sights in Mitte area, and subway station is right next to the hotel to get to further areas of interest. Good, but overpriced breakfast. The staff were very friendly and helpful, but they're not there 24 hrs a day.

walking distance to galleries lafayette, 260 and other upscale shopping. about a 15-20 minute walk to brandenburg gate.. management suite was ultra spacious, comfy bed, workable kitchen and a big bathroom. desk staff was extremely helpful and friendly. because this is a service apt basically, clean up was not as good as living in a hotel. dishes were not put away, towels weren't replaced as often... other than that, it was a great stay!

“Fab Central Berlin Hotel”

We booked the Mandala Suites for location and price for a room of such size. The welcome was warm and considering it's not a hotel it offered a very high level of service. All was clearly explained eg keycards, entrances/exits after reception closed, facilities. The suite was simply fantastic. It overlooked the external courtyard shared with other buildings so nice and quiet. It comprised a good-sized bedroom with kingbed and great storage, bathroom with shower over bath, separate toilet, huge lobby with lots of storage for coats and suitcases and a fab living room (with balcony but as Dec we didn't use it) with pretty decently equipped smart kitchen. We could easily have stayed there for a month it was so comfortable - and appears that many people do exactly that. The only confusion was over breakfast. I was fairly sure it wasn't included but we were told all about it and then weren't sure but at no point did anyone mention the cost and we forgot to ask. If you do decide to have breakfast it's approx €18 each. It's buffet style with as much as you could eat. The room is small, they obviously expect most guests to use their kitchens so if full it could get very busy. It was fine when we were there, no problems getting a table and the staff really are very helpful. They prepare hot options to order alongside the very plentiful cold buffet offerings which included lots of fruit, meats and cheeses, different breads and pastries. We would definitely return.
