“Berlin Bliss at the Ritz Carlton”

It was the little touches that impressed us. It was my boyfriend's 30th and they sent a little cake up to the room with 'Happy 30th Birthday' on it when we arrived. They always met you with a smile at the door and reception. We had a great 2 nights and would go back again. If in doubt book the breakfast- it's a must...great start to the day.

“Three Days in Berlin”

Location of the hotel is perfect, close to heart of Berlin and right on the subway line if you are inclined to use that mode of transportation. Service was excellent, all the people we dealt with were very helpful and courteous. The gentleman at the hotel front door went out of his way to get my rental car GPS set up in English and working, a nice touch and greatly appreciated. Food was very good covering breakfast through dinner with a very comfortable outside patio section. Hotel was a first class place and well worth the value.

A fabulous 5* hotel! Perfect location, walking distance to Brandenburg gate and rail station across the road. Staff were lovely and not stuffy! Already planninig our return!

“Fantastic luxury”

Spent 3 nights here, and it was a real shame to go leave. Beutifully appointed large room, with fantastic bathroom too.

“Wonderful and Luxurious Stay”

Great rooms, fabulous bed!!! Very good location right in Potsdammer Platz. Only small complaint: service not quite a good as one would expect in Ritz. Several questions to the concierge elicited vague answers and suggestions, with no concrete recommendations, which is what I expect when I ask for a dinner recommendation. And service at breakfast was very slow and seemed not well orchestrated. But everyone was very friendly, which counts for a lot.

The hotel was very nice to stay at. The room was spacious, quiet, and nicely decorated. The staff was very helpful and courteous. The pool was small, but the exercise room is accomodating. Many sites are within walking distance, as well as train and bus stations.

The hotel lives up to the high standards set bt the Ritz Carlton Group.They provde a very high standard of service combined with a friendly (not stuffy) approach. Buffet breakfast is an experience ( starting with champagne ) They have recreated a typical french dining atmosphere Good location in Potsdammer Platz 15 minute walk to Brandenburgh Gate Highly recommended

“Club level comfort”

We booked this hotel on the strength of another review we had read - which not only rated this hotel highly but strongly advised anyone to book through Expedia and to go for the club floor for the extra benefits. It truly is a hotel within a hotel where nothing is too much for the staff. In fact the level of staff service was good and unobtrusivel attentive throughout. Our room was very comfortable and the bathroom beautiful as you would expect from a class of hotel such as this in Germany. In terms of location this hotel is a few minutes walk from the Brandenburg Gate and right next to an U and S bahn station - a perfect start point for any exploration of Berlin.

“Cozy, comfortable, great location”

Settled down before bed with soothing live music and night cap in cozy open bar on first floor. Soaked in comfortable tub after washing with fresh Bulgari soaps in separate overhead shower, under great halogen light surrounded by bright marble in club room on eleventh floor. Slept like a baby in remarkably comfortable bed. Broke fast with hardy buffet breakfast - great coffee, fresh warm bread of various sorts, a dozen choices of Bonne Mama jam, various mueseli - concunut, plain, blueberry, meats, cheeses, lox, bagels, eggs, ... Concierge was spot on with recommendations for strolling to find dinner, night life, and things to see close by. When I make it back to Berlin, I hope to stay in Ritz again.
