This is a clean, quiet hotel with modern decor. It is just a few steps from the S-bahn station so it’s very conveniently located if you need to travel to other places in the city. The rooms were reasonably priced too.

Amazing!!!
The hotel is amazing!! Our room was lovely and the bathroom is very nice too. Service was good overall. The hotel do a really cool thing where if you hang out the ‘do not disturb’ sign, your room would not be cleaned and you would receive a drinks voucher (bins were still emptied during this though). The hotel is right next to the S-Bahn station, Stresow which is also a huge bonus. But unfortunately the skybar seemed to be closed, although we were never informed on that, we just guessed as the lift wouldn’t take you up there. Only things we would fault is breakfast is very experience (over €21 pp) so we never tried it, so we don’t know whether it’s good value for money, just very expensive in general. In the description of the hotel, it says ‘nightclub’ but there is none? Was very confused with that but the bar in the lobby is good.

A true Home away from Home
Couldn’t fault the hotel. Check in was nice and simple, quick too! Do note, you have to pay City tax at reception, however that’s standard across all hotels in Berlin. Bar downstairs was always lively at night, and the drink coupons for skipping room cleaning are probably a good reason to use it if staying for more than one night. Room was a great size, bathroom spotlessly clean, radiators and AC cool/heat was a great bonus as when I visited it was -6 and snowy, so definitely thawed me back out. Beds really comfortable. I booked a double room, however it was 2 singles pushed together, which was fine, but I believe it’s a standard thing in Germany, Definitely recommend staying here, it’s good value, warm, clean and comfortable

Good morning, The stay is good but we are very disappointed. Because we booked and payed for the breakfast and the hotel shows us that we did not have the breakfast include. So we are very disappointed for this situation.

I would’ve given a better review if the restaurant at the top of the hotel would’ve been open for dinner. I’m not sure why it was not. It was sorely lacking in room amenities as well.

The hotel is in a town called Spandau within minutes walking to the old town which has great selection of restaurants and almost everything you need. The hotel is about 30 minutes train ride from main attractions (S3,S9). We have time in Berlin, so we felt it worth the travel time in exchange for a great hotel with reasonable prices.

Great location for walking to concerts at Zitadelle Spandau. Convenient S-Bahn station just across the street for traveling into downtown. Surprisingly nice buffet breakfast. Room was fine & bathroom clean. Only negative was area surrounding the hotel was fairly run down. Didn’t feel unsafe, but definitely looked shady. Easy choice for staying just outside Berlin for a reasonable price.

The hotel offers a great view of the Spandau area of Berlin, we really enjoyed it at breakfast (on the top (16th) floor). The room was comfortable, with hot showers & lots of pressure. Access to the subway station is right across the street, with shopping one stop away. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay here, would do it again.

Our room was excellent and the staff at the front counter were friendly and helpful. The bed was very comfortable. The bathtub was quite slippery. But the water pressure was amazing! There was only one english channel, CNN. No microwave, coffee machine or kettle in the room. Bring your own shampoo, conditioner and bar soap as the one they provide left the skin itchy. I don’t think the thermostat was working in the room but opening and closing the window changed the temperature quite well. We prepaid breakfast with Expedia which on our first day was accused of not doing so by a waitress and then mocked us in German. Didn’t appreciate that as I understand German which she didn’t know. Also, we were looking for a great German meal but the restaurant at night is Italian dishes. There is the S Train across the street, we were lucky to have kind people around to help us purchase the correct tickets. The hotel is about a 25 minute drive to the sites Berlin is know for. Overall, I would stay there again.

Interesting Architecture in a Quiet Area
Brief visit for a concert at the nearby Citadel. S-Bahn station across the road, so easy access to city and airport. Quiet and comfortable room (minibar contents included in the price I paid, though I never got to enjoy that!). Lovely views at breakfast from Sky Lounge restaurant on top floor. Friendly and helpful staff, even though communication was not easy because of my poor German. Recommended.

I stayed two times in one month and each visit was good. Here is why I am concerned about staying there. On the last trip a person in the next room was yelling and screaming, so much so that I could not sleep on my penultimate night. This ruined my last day in Berlin as I was so exhausted. I did alert the front desk and I asked for a wellness check for the person. They ascertained that the screaming person was not in danger, but they also suggested that I *personally* speak to the screamer. No. I would not. They said they would do something to compensate me for the loss of a night's sleep but that didn't happen.

This was my second time in Berlin and I picked this location because of the good price. A lot of people who live in Berlin told me it was really far from the City Center but I loved the location. It was right across the street from public transportation and Spandau has a lot of great historical sites that I never would have known about had I not stayed there. The staff was great and the buffet was excellent. My only criticism would be housekeeping. The rooms were impeccable but housekeeping would arrive incredibly early in the morning sometimes before 9 AM.
