the hotel is in an excellent area, easy reach of all transport systems, plenty of restaurants and bars of varying types and all very nice, within walking distance of central attractions, hotel is very clean and tidy with adequate amenities, staff were helpfull and pleasant, only fault we had was that after a good days walk around the city it would have been nice to come back to the room and sit and relax and maybe watch a movie on tv but the channels were limited to news channels basically, would have helped just to wind down with a beer or two otherwise couldnt fault it. The hotel had very good security, also a free safe which was very handy

Booked superior room and it was really excellent. Location perfect very close to Ubahn station and close to many attractions.

Easy to find, good central location. Helpful staff. Convenient connections to the public transport system. Bike hire available from reception which we used for our 3 day stay a great way to see Berlin ! Supermarket (open 7- 24 hrs) just around the corner (nice croissants and cheap wine) . Hotel on busy road so some traffic noise if in the rooms at the front. But shutters and blackout curtains in rooms blocked most of it. Beds very firm - just as I like, really comfy stay. modern and clean bathroom no problems with hot water. safe in room and mini bar.

“Oasis of delight in Berlin”

Friendly check in person ascertained preferences for views, floor, non-smoking etc and allocated a beautiful room with balcony and street views. Free speedy internet in room via cable was an asset. Location ideal for walking to major sights.

“Place to stay in Berlin!”

This hotel is located in the heart of Berlin, walking distance to many places of interest or an inexpensive ride by taxi. Only about 25 min from main airport. They offer breakfast for 12 Euros, which is a good deal, and the food was good, restaurant was clean. Room was very clean, the only negative was lack of room for luggage, we had to keep our suit cases on the floor, closed. Not a big deal, but it would be nice to have just a little more space for luggage. On the other hand, this room was good size for a European hotel. There was safe in the room, and Internet access in the lobby, at a reasonable price. Would definitely return to this hotel if we are in Berlin again.

Clean and conveniently located. Staff is nice. We got superior room which had balcony and huuuuge windows on two sides of room. We will never forget view from it. View was good and for some reasons reminded us of early 90s.

“Clean and friendly hotel is a great location”

We really enjoyed our stay in this hotel. It was within walking distance (probably a 10 minute walk) from Unter den Linden. So, we were able to take the bus both from and to the airport and avoid high taxi prices. Too, the hotel is in a nice part of the city--pretty upscale. We were within blocks of the Brandenburger Tor, Reichstag, and Checkpoint Charlie. Too, there is a U-Bahn station just around the corner. The only thing to consider is the small room size. The shower in our room was literally right next to the beds. So, we could not help but see each other when showering. That was fine for us, but I wouldn't have been comfortable if I had been in the room with a friend. Finally, I should mention that the staff was great and they spoke wonderful English. I certainly recommend this hotel to others. And I also recommend Berlin. Every single German person we met during our stay was incredibly friendly, oftentimes going out of their way to be kind.
