Pros: GREAT POOL AREA & THE ON SITE RESTAURANT FOR BREAKFAST,LUNCH OR DINNER VERY GOOD !!!! STAFF WAS SUPER COURTEOUS -EXCEPTIONAL SERVICE !!!!
ROOMS ARE RIGHT ON OR SLIGHTLY ABOVE THE BEACH-- ALL ROOMS FACE THE OCEAN--FANTASTIC VIEWS FROM ALL ROOMS. THIS IS A SMALLER HOTEL AS COMPARED TO SOME OF THE MONSTER ONES IN BERMUDA.THEIR PROPERTY IS SIMPLY FANTASTIC !!!!

A reasonably priced hotel on a great beach!

Posted Sep 22, 2014
Pros: Reasonable room prices, good food.
Cons: The wifi is not very good. They need to strengthen their signal, in both the rooms (!) and the lobby. Plus they falsely advertise $7 for happy hour.
Location: To continue the previous, the $7 is only for a couple drinks, not martinis and other cocktails. Bummer. The rum swizzler had little rum.
This is an older hotel that is kept clean with fresh paint throughout. The best part about the hotel is the staff who are friendly and very cooperative, and the prices are reasonable for a very, very, very overpriced island. The beach is fantastic if you are looking for a swimable beach.

Two years has passed, the WiFi has not been fixed

Posted Sep 20, 2014
Pros: Nice views, great beach, quiet place
Cons: WiFi, restaurant
Location: For meals skip the hotel restaurant, walk 5 minutes to the main road, turn left and walk 1 minute more. There is a decent and reasonably priced place
I stayed in this hotel previously two years ago and wrote the same things I am about to write now again, nothing has been fixed or improved, I guess they just don't care. WiFi in the hotel is terrible to the point of being almost unusable. The connection is sporadic at best. If you need to be connected this hotel is not for you. The restaurant is on expensive side but the cooking does not measure up. It is not bad, but is no better than just OK. For $35 main course you expect something a bit more refined than Applebee's

Coco Reef has the most beautiful beach and views. It is very peaceful and relaxing. The gardens are beautiful with the hibiscus blooming every morning. It is a convenient walk to the bus route for sightseeing and shopping.

Not worth 1/3 of the cost!

Posted Aug 5, 2014
Basic amenities. One restaurant, and it's closed when I wanted breakfast at 10:30am, lunch at 2:00pm, among other vacation snacking hours. No other choices and you can't walk anywhere for food, so bring your own food. Hotel staff was rude and not welcoming. We asked them to hold our luggage after checkout at 10:00am when we went to town, and they said they'd secure it in a safe location- at 4:00pm it hadn't moved and was in the middle of the lobby where we left it!! Passports and all. Unacceptable. NO entertainment at all either. You will find basic amenities at this very costly hotel. There are far better hotels for the same cost that will make you love Bermuda instead of dreading it like we did here for 3 days.

Easy Beach access!! Amazing view!!

We spent too much time looking for a hotel and The Reefs was always high on the list. When that fell through we chose the coco reef ocean front room. We were very happy with the location. We went to Cambridge , Tucker's town , Elbow and a few others just to see and none and the short easy walk to the beach like coco. It is not as upscale as the others but the value of not walking up cliffs to the room or having to catch a ride to the beach was well worth the cost. The Thursday night dinner was very good and I would suggest getting the full breakfast. The staff was rather poor and could use some training on being more upbeat. We found those from Bermuda were typically much more friendly then those from other parts of the world. This was the case everywhere we went. Like others said bldg 100 and 200 have unobstructed views and an easy walk to the water. The beach was long enough to take a short jog as well. Enjoy the view!
