Beautiful location but very dated interior -Posted Dec 3, 2013
Pros: Staff made the experience great and the grounds were gorgeous.
Cons: Interior of rooms - new bedding, headboards etc could really truly make it a five star
Location: Location was great- easy to go envy where by bus or taxi if you want.
The lovely photos on website are taken during the summer when there is actually a beach. The food and service at restaurant was fantastic Room needed a makeover - the bedding was clean but the bedspread and matching lampshades, curtains, etc had seen a lot of guests over the years as well many washings. Old style tv but great wifi so you could stay in 1980 but connect to the future! Staff were all very helpful and friendly.

Great ocean viewPosted Nov 30, 2013
Pros: Location was good and had a nice restaurant with great food. Reasonable rates.
Cons: Change railings on room patios as to not block view when in room
Location: About 10 min. bus ride to Hamilton. Market and local restaurant within walking distance.
The room had a great ocean view and the staff was very friendly.Unfortunately the beach was largely washed away. If you plan to spend a lot of time walking the beach I'd check if it has returned prior to making reservations.

26th Wedding AnniversaryPosted Nov 23, 2013
Pros: All of it, from the hotel lobby, to the ease getting onto the beach.
Cons: The furniture in the room was dated, but for us we overlooked that because the furniture was clean and useable. Just because its old doesn’t mean you.
Location: If you forgot anything, before leaving home there is a supermarket just east of the Coco Reef Hotel. Its a nice walk from the hotel to the main road.
We booked our Vacation to coincide with our 26th wedding anniversary and we planned our stay with the Coco Reef Hotel. Our flight and stay was excellent from getting a surprise with a room upgrade to the meals at the hotel restaurant. The front desk staff was excellent, they answered all our questions and were always available at all hours of the day and night. The food at the restaurant was excellent from food to service. Yes the furniture in the room was dated, but for us we overlooked that because the furniture was clean and useable. Just because its old doesn’t mean you got to get rid of it. You replace it slowly as the budget can handle it. This hotel is better then others we saw. The beach has been eroded by the storms this past year, but there is enough beach to enjoy it, as there are no crowds when we stayed here. If you want more beach you just have to walk 100 yards and you have Elbow Beach available to you. We would highly recommend this hotel.

Great view but no sandPosted Nov 16, 2013
Great location near the water, but the sandy beach is gone. Had to walk across the rocks to the Elbow Beach hotel to get to the beach. Rooms are dated and need renovation, but the staff is friendly.

incredible location...doesnt get any prettier!Posted Oct 29, 2013
Pros: Best- location and food
Cons: fix sliding door and refrigerator
Location: took bus into Hamilton and the Dockyard..a must do!
We were there for our 30th anniversary...hotel was 1/2 full (only has 64 rooms) so it was wonderfully quiet! Lots of steep walkways, so we got good exercise, plus walking on the beach! Only 1 restaurant there but food was 5 star! excellent, great service, & not too much, and priced like other hotels.. Pool was empty and we used it a lot! WAlked to Mickeys next door, restaurant on beach, had fabulous dinner there one night! Rooms were basic, but clean and bed very comfortable! refrigerator did Not work in room, and the sliding doors lock didn't work well at all. we just didn't lock it. needs work. very good deal! Yes we would go back!! The location is TO DIE FOR!!!

Great beach, good swimming, nice hotel.Posted Oct 27, 2013
Location: Great if you ride a motorbike.
It was perfect for a short stay.Decor was generally lovely except for oversized pictures that lacked merit, and were all over. Food and restaurant, and staff were great.

Our first visit to BermudaPosted Oct 27, 2013
Pros: the size, the staff, location, grounds, cleanliness and dedication to the guests
Cons: I wished the door was a little more sturdy and maybe a deadbolt inside
Location: Close to Hamilton, other resorts, outdoor sports etc.,
From the moment we entered the elegant but warm and inviting lobby we felt comfortable and relaxed. The staff is helpful, friendly and always available. We requested a beachfront room, well worth the extra fee, we opened the patio doors and within 10' was the beach, amazing views, breathtaking. Room was spotless, cleaned everyday, fresh towels, etc., the bedding first class, luxurious, and comfortable mattress. We also opted for the full breakfast for an additional $20 per person, well worth it, food and service were first class, no matter what meal we had there it was perfect, always seated overlooking the water. Had a special dinner request that no salt be added to the entree, no problems or issues with that, the chef managed to make it still taste delicious. The grounds are breath taking, all types of flowers, plants, benches to sit, serene and amazing. Huge lobby, lovely sitting area, a small room off the main desk, contained all types of brochures, access to a computer. They even sell bus tokens, so you can travel that way (bus stop is right in front of the resort), or they will arrange a taxi. During low tide it was very easy to walk along the beach for at least a mile or two and enjoy the outdoors. My husband enjoyed the pool too, we visited the week of october 20th, weather was great for swimming and enjoying the outdoors. Would highly recommend this resort, hope to return again and again
