Not greatPosted Feb 14, 2014
The towels in my room were dirty which I didn't find out until getting out of the shower. There were no microwave or robes, like the hotel write up had. The room was freezing cold and thermostat couldn't be controlled. The front desk did not answer the phone at night and the phone in my room only worked occasionally. The front desk day staff was very nice & helpful, food was good.

short stay for businessPosted Feb 14, 2014
Pros: nice location, view of ocean
Location: not much near the hotel such as other bars, restaurants etc. would need to go back into Hamilton
everyone is very pleasant and accommodating. I do not demand a lot of extra's as my stays are brief

The view is the only thing of valuePosted Feb 1, 2014
Pros: The view and close to the beach. Very small beach
Expected more but please if you consider this place it is not something you will talk about for a long time. Spend the extra dollars and search for another place.

Nice hotel close to beach and all amenitiesPosted Jan 23, 2014
Pros: The hotel is situated right by the beach and I had a nice sea view. It was convenient to get around the island by bus (a short walk from the hotel)
Cons: Decor of room - a bit like the set of the Golden Girls!
Location: South shore beaches. Hamilton nice little town easy to get to. Bus to rest of lovely island.
A lovely quite holiday as January is out of season. Weather about 20C in the day, perfect. Such a friendly island - thoroughly recommend.

view is excellentPosted Jan 8, 2014
Pros: the location with views in each room. - the beach was subject to wind and currents, but when favored you could walk the distance of Elbow Beach
Location: buses will take you all over the island and you can connect with the Ferry too. Good walks and lovely people
the room was ample and probably could be updated, but the view was excellent and the grounds were well kept. the staff was helpful and kind. the food was good the hotel could probably use a renovation - but the prices offered and the package given was fine too

Has a nice small private beach but no atmospherePosted Jan 6, 2014
Pros: sitting out on the balcony in the mornings drinking coffee
Cons: A general spring clean and touch up.
Location: Little bit isolated but the bus service to Hamilton is good.
Most "beachfront" rooms are some way from the main building so it was nice to be taken to the room with our bags on a golf cart. The room was clean and airy, if a little tired. All staff were pleasant and helpful. The hotel shares facilities with the Bermuda College, in whose grounds the hotel is located, and due to the college being closed we did not have access to the gym. They have 2 tennis courts, only 1 of which was serviceable, they provided some raquets and balls but they are not in very good condition. They have a bar which advertises happy hour drinks at $7 and on the dinner menu in the restaurant the same drink is 6.50. Breakfast is average, dinner was just ok, we never had lunch. All in all it was just ok
