Posted Jun 22, 2015
Pros: location, quiet
Cons: breakfast should be served outdoors not in the AC - noisy room
on the beach, walking distance to several restaurants, short ride to Hamilton - you can walk too - it's only a couple of miles

Excellent honeymoon experience

Posted Jun 17, 2015
We had a great time. Resort meals were a little pricey. We had to take bus in to get a variety of foods priced reasonably. If you ate all 3 meals at the resort it would cost a couple $250 a day including gratitudes e

Beautiful view from every room.

Posted Jun 6, 2015
Pros: The location was perfect. The view of the ocean was beautiful. The staff was exceptional.
Cons: Minor repairs are in progress.
Location: Location is convenient to Hamilton and the Dockyard by public transportation.
The Coco Reef Resort is on the beautiful Elbow Beach. The hotel staff were exceptional! The room was very comfortable and clean. The view from everywhere in the resort was beautiful. It is a small resort and all rooms have an ocean view. The location is convenient to everywhere on the island. The public bus system is a short walking distance from the hotel and the route covers major tourist areas. The hotel is in the process of fixing some minor problems (fixing the railings, outside fixtures, etc.). This did not interrupt our vacation. It is a tranquil setting!

Coco Reef makes for a great Bermuda experience.

Posted Jun 2, 2015
We return to Coco Reef each year. It's the best hotel value on the island. All rooms have a tremendous view. Staff is very pleasant. Proximity to Modern Mart and Paraquet restaurant allows for some economical meals. Bermuda does not have to kill your pocketbook. Can't wait to go back! One thought - Be ready to do lots of walking on Bermuda. Otherwise, you may spends lots of $$ on cabs.

beautiful beach

Posted May 18, 2015
Pros: Location, location, location
Cons: For some reason you have to get your beach towels at the front desk which was a walk up a long hill from our room only to find them "not ready" often.
We took a family vacation and liked this hotel...however, we found the food to be outrageously expensive and mediocre. Other than that, it's a great location, nice staff. Internet is spotty and kept logging us out. Still, overall, a nice relaxing place to enjoy a beautiful beach.

Staff was very nice and accommodating. Room was fine. Pictures in room (and some in lobby) bit creepy. Lobby furniture desperately needs replacing.

Wonderful Bermuda Hotel.

Posted May 13, 2015
Pros: Almost everything! I wish there was room service and only one restaurant in the area delivers.
Cons: You must get towels from the front desk and I wish they were available at the pool.
Location: Many activities we didn't do because our goal was to just relax.
Amazing stay. The staff are so kind, by the time you leave a genuine friendship has been made. The beach is close to the rooms and so beautiful. Soft and clean sand, and the water is bright blue and clean. Comfortable lounge chairs with umbrellas. The pool is nice but no hot tube. Everything is quiet and private. If you are handicapped and have trouble walking up and down a steep walkway this might not be for you. There is "golf cart" driver, Steven, is very kind and available to help though. He will definitely drive you to your room and back with your luggage at the beginning and end of the stay. The hours at the gift shop are limited and it is very small but a good selection makes it worth going. It has all the basic necessities. There is a grocery store just down the street which has a great selection and also carries liquor, wine and beer. Refrigerators are in the rooms and I think you can request a microwave. Downtown Hamilton is about a 20 minutes cab ride (about $18) with lots of shops and restaurants. We have two children ages 11 and 13 and they loved it.
