Great experiencePosted Aug 11, 2014
Found this place on my third visit to the island. A charming and authentic guest house with friendly and service minded staff. Great location a little up the hill few minutes walk from town. Rooms on upper floors have a fantastic view from large, private balconies. Highly recommendable.

Edgehill Manor = Hidden Gold!Posted Jul 12, 2014
Pros: Location / price
Location: Walking distance to: Shopping, Dining, Transportation
Edgehill Manor has the location and price that we were looking for. Everything we needed was in walking distance. Dining, Shopping, Grocery, Scooter, Ferry. Staff was friendly and helpful just like the whole island.

One of the best hotels I have ever experienced!Posted Oct 15, 2013
Cons: If anything, it would be great if the pool was heated. It felt too cold to swim.
Location: Excellent locating in a charming neighborhood and walking distance to restaurants, shopping and anything in Hamilton.
Bridget was an incredibly warm and welcoming host. She served me coffee when I arrived late morning unexpectedly and even drove me to the bus #7 where I could take a lovely tour of the coastline and dockyard. The rooms were gorgeous, tastefully decorated, updated and impeccably clean. My room had a balcony overlooking the pool and the landscape. I can't wait to return!

Pleasant stayPosted Sep 29, 2013
Pros: The Bermudiana feel
Cons: Just the shower.
Location: You are fairly close to the shopping area of Hamilton and there are various dining options within a short walk.
The Manor was dated in true Bermuda style. The only fault that I can comment on was that the shower did not work properly. A good dose of CLR would remedy this. The staff were really pleasant and helpful. I would recommend that any guests have transportation because walking the hill from Front Street can be tiring.

Business TripPosted Jul 2, 2013
The staff is extremely friendly and accommodating and easily cater to business guests as well as anyone in town for vacation. Rooms are kept very clean, are comfortable, and have all necessary accommodations. One note is that water pressure in the shower isn't necessarily the strongest. The location is a short walk from Front Street where most of the action is in Hamilton. Moped shop that I've frequented is also right down the block. If you are choosing between the Princess and Edgehill Manor, you shouldn't have any regrets staying at Edgehill. But to be safe, depending on your expectations, business guests should still be open minded that this at heart is still a bed & breakfast.

Easy LivingPosted May 26, 2013
The first leg of my trip I stayed at the Fairmont South Hampton, which was okay, but situated in a remote part of the island and little access to anything but the beach (it was also exorbitantly expensive). Conversely, the Edgemont was simple, relaxing, and well positioned on the island to go anywhere. This place is by no means fancy, but extremely comfortable with great views of Hamilton (it sits on top of a hill with expansive views). The staff were extremely accommodating and worked mostly behind the scenes so that you have a lot of privacy and space. If I go back to Bermuda there is no other place I'd consider staying at.

Bermuda GetawayPosted Mar 4, 2013
Pros: We love staying in B & B style accomodation rather than a hotel. A stay here is highly recommended.
Cons: The road out front had a dangerous curve, so cars & scooters tapped their horns to negotiate the curve. A room at the back would avoid this.
Location: It was centrally located in the capital, within walking distance of downtown where buses and ferries depart frequently for all parts of Bermuda.
A lovely place to stay with both the original century-old house and a modern addition. A common room of some type would have added to the experience, where people can meet others staying there. The views from the individual room balconies were wonderful, and the price very reasonable.
