Beach and great foodPosted Mar 16, 2015
Pros: Breakfast and lunch on the beach
Nice view of the ocean, with the walk to the beach easy to make on the winding paths that permeate the hotel grounds. A short easy cab ride to town, so good for business and vacation travelers.

Lovely property. Beautiful beachPosted Feb 17, 2015
Hotel staff were very nice. Very helpful. Wished the spa had a sauna or steam room, very useful on not so warm days.

Great Beachfront HotelPosted Jan 26, 2015
Pros: Amazing facility. As clean as any beach room could be. I have seen many. Over the top, old school service.
Cons: Could keep access to a kayak rental and snorkel shop open for January die hards.
Location: Try a mountain bike on the railroad trail. King Henry's for the great food and entertainment.
Great facility. Older but exceptionally well maintained. January! Quiet on the island. Many things were unavailable that would have been available at other times. Water was plenty warm for a short swim. We did some snorkeling from the beach with wetsuits and gear from home. Often had the beach to ourselves.

Burmuda tripPosted Dec 31, 2014
Excellent hotel with private beach probably the best on the island. Restaurant food is good but expensive. They charge $40/hr to play tennis for two person. Hotel staff is very friendly and top notch. Spa service is way beyond your expectation.

Excellent stay! Outstanding response to Hurricane!Posted Oct 14, 2014
Pros: Clean facilities and an outstanding staff, particularly the front desk and concierge.
Cons: Nothing really.
Location: Elbow Beach is located i the center of the island which provides great access to other beaches as well as cultural spots. Cycle rental is on premises.
Outstanding beach allowed me to get in some snorkeling. The facilities were all very clean with an outstanding staff. Our room was well appointed and spotlessly clean. After Hurricane Fay hit, the staff really stepped up. We were provided a complimentary night stay since the airport was closed. The weather cleared up, so we were able to enjoy another beautiful day at Elbow Beach in Bermuda.

Great placePosted Oct 12, 2014 on Hotels.com
The main hotel is closed for renovations, thus few people at the pool area. While we were there you were always able to get a chair @the beach as well.

Elbow BeatchPosted Sep 1, 2014
Pros: The beach is wonderful.
Cons: If this were $200 less per night, not so much. But the room cost is completely out of line with the downtrodden facilities and the apathetic service.
This hotel was recommended to us by a friend and after the first day I couldn't wait to find out why she thought it was worth visiting. The original part of the hotel is largely disserted and the remaining facilities are under utilized, badly maintained and poorly designed (the bar is nothing more than a shelf along the wall and a grand piano is placed in a large room that is otherwise empty). The rooms are housed in detached buildings away from the main lobby. They are comfortable but finishes are dated. Because the doors open directly to the outdoors, the rooms quickly become very humid as the inside cool air mixes with the hot humid outside air. The result is a lingering smell that reminds me of a locker room. The beach and views are actually amazing but service there is very unpredictable. We had one server for covering most of the beach and the little red ribbons on the umbrella were completely ineffective.

Great placePosted Aug 26, 2014 on Hotels.com
While it may not be the fanciest place at which we have stayed, it was eminently comfortable. The good was great, the beach is unbelievable, the service was prompt, and the room was a good size, clean, and had a very nice bathroom. I would not hesitate to recommend it to anyone and would certainly stay there again.
