Not badPosted Oct 11, 2014
This hotel gives an impression of a (very fancy) apartment complex. The view of the harbor and Hamilton is wonderful. We dined a lot on the patio with our children watching tv inside. Odd location (not on the beach). Elbow beach where the shuttle takes you is pretty, large and very clean - better than horseshoe. Shuttle can take some time occasionally though so you will need some patience waiting. They have free boat which goes to Hamilton but the schedule is restrictive so we ended up taking the bus a lot - bus stop a 5-min walk. Overall good experience.

Enjoyable stay, would recommend.Posted Oct 1, 2014
Pros: See above
Cons: Return shuttle from beach to the hotel at times took longer to arrive to pick us up than we would prefer.
Location: See above
Our stay at the hotel was very enjoyable. Service was friendly, room very clean with a great view of the harbor. Water shuttle across the harbor to Hamilton was frequent and easy to use as well as the hotel's shuttle to the beach. Beach was approximately 5 minutes from the hotel, beautiful blue/green water with white sand. Infinity pool on the harbor at the hotel was wonderful. Meals were expensive but the food quality was very good.

50th wedding anniversary early (Nov. 14 2014Posted Sep 26, 2014
Pros: What is there not to like about the Newstead Belmont Hills, from the location, friendliness of staff, great views, tremendous restaurants.
Cons: Reduced prices for food, but that is every where in Bermuda.
Location: Location is central and 5 minute boat ride to Hamilton and shuttle service to airport, golf, and restaurant.
It was a tremendous vacation, probably the best we have enjoyed. We both love Bermuda and decided to go there for our anniversary. Everyone was very friendly, the weather was beautiful, the food was great, and the hotel was beyond our expectations. We are planning to go back again.

The best hotel I have stayed in.Posted Sep 23, 2014
Pros: The setting , set by the side of the harbour and terraced into the rocks
Cons: To have the water ferry running all day
Location: Close to the capital Hamilton with its shops etc. only a ferry ride away.
The peace and tranquillity of this hotel is beyond expectations. The views across the harbour are superb. The convenience of the water ferry is good. The staff are courteous and friendly. Sitting by the pool and watching the occasional yacht go by is priceless..

Pros: The bed was comfortable. I liked the tv, but some channels didn't come in. The free shuttles were great. The front desk staff were kind and helpful
Cons: There were small ants on the bathroom floor. The bathtub may not be safe to get in and out of for older people. Take extra care not to fall or slip.
Location: Hamilton is close by. It has a ferry terminal there, so you can take ferries to different places. The hotel's free water taxi takes you right to it.
I really liked and appreciated the free airport shuttle both ways, as well as the free beach shuttle and water taxi to Hamilton. They helped a lot.

Beautiful Pristine Setting and ViewPosted Sep 12, 2014
Cons: notification that advance reservation is required for free shuttle from airport to hotel upon arrival
Location: Renting mopeds, snorkeling, golf course at Belmont Hills
A wonderful setting and location convenient to many destinations on the island. The resort is well planned and has lovely, meandering feel as one can walk along stone pathways and thru gardens to reach the pool, restaurant, spa and fitness center. The colors of buildings and landscaping is very calming. Free ferry to Hamilton and free shuttle to Coco Reef Resort with beautiful beach and accommodations. Free shuttle from hotel to airport

Excellent & relaxing stay at the Newstead BelmontPosted Sep 4, 2014
Pros: I liked everything, from the decor to the pool, to the terrace view of downtown Hamilton at night.
Location: The resort is conveniently located in North Paget, overlooking the harbor into downtown Hamilton, where you'll find a plethora of shops and eateries.
I enjoyed a very pleasant at the Newstead Belmont Hills Resort. The property, from what I could tell, was well maintained, and my 1 bedroom suite / cottage overlooking the harbor was amazing. It was luxurious, yet had a very comfortable & homey feel. The complimentary ferry & shuttles come very much in handy and helped cut back on travel time & costs. I recommend this resort to anyone.

Excellent hotel. A little worn in areas but maybe due to end of busy season. Central location with free shuttle to airport and beach.

Nice hotel, large rooms, infinity poolPosted Aug 20, 2014
Pros: Private and smaller than many of the other places to stay but so close to everything.
Cons: Prices of the food and drink are expensive although much of the island is the same. Food was good but not 5 star.
Location: Right on bay, free shuttle to one of the private beaches the hotel has agreement with for quest use, yet you can walk there on your own as well.
We had a great stay, clean all around, beautiful rooms with kitchen, dining and living room area so you could eat in if you like. Hotel has free ferry to Hamilton plus 5 min or less walk to public ferry. Times are limited but nice amenity. Very quiet and peaceful hotel yet close to shopping, restaurants and beach. I loved that it was 1/4 mile walk to a "railroad track" which was great for walking, running, biking etc. This place is very family friendly although I think children might prefer to stay in a resort with more amenities catering to children. Spa on site that we did not use but the stay did come with greens fees which we did partake in - had to pay for cart and club rentals so not much saving there. Course was very pretty though.
