Newstead Belmont Hills Golf Resort & Spa

Great location, the room was superb and the staff very helpful and pleasant. Unfortunately they forgot to send our cab to the airport upon our arrival which was a little unfortunate. We also wanted to use the spa and couldn't get in touch, it went to voice mail, so we took a trip to another hotel to use their facilities. I know April is probably a slow time, but when we arrived the guy who showed us our room noticed that we had no coffee maker and said he would rectify that - never did. Little things I know, but when you are slow, all the more reason to get these things right! Bed is a little hard for me - I am particular about this, and had to sleep on extra pillows. The ferry across to Hamilton is great and as I said everyone was very pleasant and helpful - that goes for everyone we met in Bermuda - a very very lovely island with lovely lovely people

This was an awesome experience. First time in Bermuda, 1st Anniversary.. The room we had was amazing, the largest deck one could ask for. The view was unbelievable. Superb service. I am considering my return within a year hopefully and would like to get the same room, same rate. I am hoping to have guests along for the trip as well.

Very nice hotel, great location, great view from the rooms (guaranteed because all rooms are facing the Hamilton Bay), helpful staff. The ferry service to Hamilton (opposite side of teh bay) was very convenient, when the ferry is running. Did not use the restaurant and hence cannot comment. The public bus system is great - we used it for travelling around the island, and the bus stop is a short walk away from the hotel. The compementary taxi provided by the hotel for pick-up and drop-off from the airport has ben a great service. The only improvement I would suggest is to have the availabilty of the hotel ferry for all the days and more a bit longer times (especially in the evening - last oen is at 7:30) because that would help coming back from Hamilton after dinner. During our stay, the ferry did not run on the holiday (Good Friday) and Sunday, and did not run Saturday afternoon. The public buses are not too frequent in the holidays and weekend either, and so transportation in the holiday/weekend could be a bit iffy. Overall, a very good experience. Definitely recommend this hotel.

We started with a great introduction to the facility with Eric and it didn't stop until we left 9 days later. Awesome place to stay.

We really enjoyed our 2 bedroom suite at the Newstead Belmont. It was very large (approx. 1200 sq. ft), and we each had a spacious bedroom with full bath and jet tubs. The living, dining and kitchen area was very comfortable for relaxing after a day of sightseeing and we were able to enjoy a few meals in the suite rather than having to rush out for breakfast. We could see on our large terrace and enjoy the beautiful view out to the sea or the boats coming and going through the harbour. The hotel has its own ferry which is a short 5 minute ride to Hamilton, and the taxi fare is very reasonable. The restaurants are average (Blu the best of the two) but you are very close to fantastic restaurants such as FourWays, Tuckers Point, or Ascots in Hamilton. The front desk staff were very accommodating and the shuttle took us to the beach one day, and also to the Railway Trail. The bus is very convenient, efficient and a great way to see Bermuda - you can catch it 5 minutes from the hotel. There is a fully equipped gym and spa, a large hottub and pool (not heated). Would highly recommend this location for those looking for something not as busy as downtown Hamilton, and one of the more luxurious hotels on the island.

Very friendly and helpful staff, always wanting to make sure we were happy with things. Beautiful view of Hamilton from our hotel room, and from the hot tub and pool. The shuttle to the golf course and Blu was very convenient, as was the ferry over to Hamilton. Blue and Beau Rivage restaurants were also very good. Prices a little higher than one might expect while on holidays, but that is common in Bermuda. But the food was very well prepared and very nice attention was paid to the details.

Super friendly staff! We travelled as 4 budget-conscious students, and even though we might not have been as high-class as some of the usual clientele, we always felt welcome and had everything we needed. Would recommend to my friends, my mum, my grandparents. An ideal location for exploring all of Bermuda or just relaxing by the pool!

I had to reschedule our visit by one day earlier so we would miss the Boston Blizzard of 2013. I had reserved a Junior Deluxe Room, and when we arrived, we were put into a 1 bedroom suite. They upgarded us without asking us and at no additional charge. A beautiful hotel with great views of the harbor and the City of Hamilton. All rooms face the harbor. The people who work at Newsteads could not have been nicer or more friendly. They could not do enough for you and really made you feel welcome. I would stay there again in a heartbeat.
