“Love this Place!!!”

Hello...Stayed at the Rosedon while visiting Bermuda with my grown son...This is one of the nicest small Hotel/Bed and Breakfast Inns I have ever stayed at...The food, the teas, the rooms and the staff were all superb in every way..If there was something you needed they took care of it pleasantly and right away...Would recommend this Hotel to anyone looking for high quality and the price charged was fair for what was received.... Love this place!!!....Thanks to all at the Rosedon for a wonderful stay....

“Great and Relaxing Hotel”

We stayed at the Rosedon for 7 nights. Great reviews and beautiful grounds were what attracted us to the hotel initially and we were not disappointed. The staff is incredibly friendly and attentive, the grounds are beautiful, the pool is clean, the rooms are nice and they have free wifi. If I was spending hours in my room each day I may have wanted a more modern room, but who goes to Bermuda to sit in a hotel room? The breakfast included with the stay was delicious and filling and the Tuesday night rum Swizzle party was alot of fun. This is a great place to stay. If I go back to Bermuda I will definitely stay at the Rosedon again.

The Rosedon Hotel is a wonderful relaxing place to stay. The grounds are lovely and the afternoon tea at 4:00 is a great idea with fresh baked treats and mini sandwiches. The breakfast is served at a location of you choice within minutes after you call, and also fresh baked muffins, fresh fruit and a hearty main course. the staff is very accommodating and the hotel mascot "Owen" an adorable and friendly cat loves to greet you! Overall the place is the best and the location is a few minute walk to town. They give you a free shuttle to the beach, towels to take with you too! When you arrive in your room, there are fresh baked cookies waiting for you. Truly a beautiful old mansion that is used as the office and the rooms are clean and decorated very tasteful.

“The Rosedon, a special small hotel”

The atmosphere at The Rosedon is thoroughly enjoyable. The staff could not have been more pleasant or helpful. They took pride in working at The Rosedon, and a number of the employees had been there for some years. The grounds are a photographer's paradise, nicely laid out, well maintained and prettier than the Bermuda Botanical Gardens. Great care was taken in labelling a substantial variety of the unusual specimen plants which were native to various continents. The heated pool was kept clean and ready for use throughout our stay. The hotel and grounds are well appointed without being stuffy, the rooms are pleasant and quiet. Various bird species and frogs share the garden. Breakfast, served from 7 to10am, was a treat, offering a varied selection of fruits, juices, breads and entrees each day. High Tea, served from 4 to 5:30pm, offered a selection of delicious sandwiches and baked goods which also provided delightful daily surprises. When you book your stay be sure to include a Tuesday because you would not want to miss the Tuesday evening Rum Swizzle Party from 6:30 to 8pm. where everyone gathers to enjoy good company, delicious food and drink and local music. I cannot say enough about this delightful small hotel and would not consider staying anywhere else in Bermuda. A number of the guests evidently think so too as they've been returning to The Rosedon for years. We can understand that. The location is quite good too, being a short walk to the center of downtown Hamilton.

We were very pleased with the Rosedon Hotel. The luxury room was very large and well furnished and included a refrigerator and even a towel warmer. The swimming pool was delightful. We also enjoyed the afternoon tea as well as the shuttle ride to Elbow beach. The location was very convenient. We were close to restaurants, the bus station, a super market, and the ferry. The employees and the hotel manager were very friendly and helpful. We plan to stay again at this hotel. On a scale of 1 to 10, we would rate it a 9.

“Fabulous Family Getaway”

Our family (2 adults and 2 teenagers) booked this hotel at the last minute and could not have been more pleased. From the moment we drove up the majestic driveway, we received warm and friendly service from all of the staff. Lauren was particularly engaging and radiates enthusiasm for her work. She made us feel welcome, gave us many great recommendations, and bakes the best banana bread ever!! We savored the delicious 4 o'clock Tea on the veranda, breakfasts by the pool, enjoyed watching the birds, and taking a leisurely swim. Staying at the Rosedon felt like we experienced a bit of Bermuda's history, not like staying at an anonymous chain hotel. We wished we could have stayed longer!

“A gem of a hotel!”

Absolutely charming! This is a very special hotel! It felt like we were guests in someone's home! We stayed in the main house which exudes history and grace. Comfortable beds , nice linens and beautiful made to order breakfasts that can be enjoyed on the amazing front porch, around the pool in the garden or in the privacy of your room. The location is perfect - within 5 minutes walking distance of downtown Hamilton making it easy to walk to restaurants and shops. Free taxi service to elbow beach where you can rent chairs and umbrellas and have use of the Ritz Carlton's beachside restaurant. We truly could not have asked for anything more!!! What a treat!

“Perfect place for a weekend stay”

Great hotel, especially for a short stay. The main house is beautiful, from a great era when houses were houses! Beautiful and expansive porch is a great place to while away the morning or afternoon, or to enjoy their afternoon tea. Tremendous staff. Beautiful pool, which is never crowded for some reason, even though there are ample lounge chairs and other amenities. Large rooms. Easy walk into downtown Hamilton for great restaurants and the ferries to other parts of the island.
