Rooms
This Bermuda hotel offers 410 carpeted, air-conditioned guestrooms in a six-story main building, a seven-story wing, and two three-story wings—all colored pink and white. Room decor features 19th-century-style mahogany furniture with polished brass hardware, gilt-frame mirrors, and bright Bermudian art. Beds include triple sheeting and down comforters. High-speed (T1) connections at work desks provide Internet access (surcharge). Televisions carry U.S. cable channels and offer pay movies.
Guests of Fairmont Gold rooms enjoy exclusive access to an enormous, lobby-size Gold Lounge and a complimentary boardroom with 14-seat conference table. The lounge features private check-in, concierge service, butler, crystal chandeliers, a vaulted ceiling containing Wedgewood china insets, a fireplace, tall windows with drapes and sheer curtains, overstuffed furniture, and a decor of 100 pastel colors. Fairmont Gold guests are served complimentary deluxe Continental breakfast; complimentary afternoon tea; complimentary evening appetizers, wine, and cheese; and complimentary bottled water and soft drinks all day in the lounge, which also includes a honor bar.

Harley's - Two-level dining room overlooking Hamilton Harbour, pool. Buffet and á la carte breakfast. Sunday brunch. Lunch choices such as codfish cakes, fish and chips, sandwiches, salads. Dinner featuring U.S. prime-grade, dry-aged steaks, crab cakes, and cassava-smoked chicken fritters stuffed with coconut. Poolside bar with seating under umbrellas. Dinner dress code: long pants or Bermuda shorts and knee socks, collared shirts for men.
The Heritage Court - Colonial Bermuda-style ambience. Famed afternoon tea with British silver tea sets, Belgian china, Italian linens, and two menus. Rum Tea menu includes sandwiches such as smoked-duck-and-kumquat. Second menu includes sandwiches such as braised lamb in Parmesan focaccia, goat cheese and watercress in saffron brioche. Continental breakfast. Piano music in evenings.

“My Stay in Hamilton”
My stay at the Fairmont Hamilton Princess was exceptional. The hotel staff attended to all my needs. The location of the hotel to the downtown shop district was in easy walking distance. The ameneties that were provided to my wife were exceptional, especially a continental breakfast and an afternoon tea. The hotel room was roomy. The hotel permitted us to dictate whether our bed sheets would be changed daily or not. The bronze statue of Mark Twain on a bench in the lobby provides the hotel with some historical mystique. Finally, when my wife and I checked into the hotel and entered our room, we noted the strong smell of tobacco. We contacted the hotel staff and in a matter of minutes we were escorted to a non-smoking room. The hotel staff told us that they would ionize the other room so that the next guest would not experience the tobacco smell. I highly recommend the hotel. If there was one soft spot it was the cost of two pina coladas which aggregated $25.
“Perfect Stay in Bermuda”
Hamilton Princess is the perfect place to stay. If you like options other than the beach for your stay this is the hotel for you. The city is safe and clean; loaded with interesting places to eat. Didn't have a bad meal. If you can, request the Gold package at the hotel. Makes you feel rich and famous. Will glady return soon...even with the children. Take the ferry to the sister hotel to enjoy one of the best beaches. No need to rent mopeds...public transportation is great and cheap. One of our best vacations. Book it!!!

“Overall the trip was good”
This was my 1st time back to Bermuda in 19 years. I felt much has changed. People were not as friendly and I was surprised that so many workers were foreign. I felt alot of the charm I remembered is fading away.
“Downtown Hamilton”
THe Fairmont Hamilton Princess is located close to downtown Hamilton with its array of restaurants and shops -- a plus for us. Using public transportation and hotel shuttles. we could also use the beautiful private beach on the south side of the island. So we enjoyed the best of both worlds. Room was cozy and quiet. We did not have one of the big harbor view rooms but felt comfortably accommodated. We loved using both pools
“Willing to change my US address to the Princess Hotel”
The friendly, attentive staff really make a difference. Gold Level amenities make you feel like Royalty. Within easy walking distance to business meeting venues.
“Our favorite place to stay when we visit”
We got married at the Princess in 2004 and it's our favorite place to stay when we return. The hotel is beautiful and the service is impeccable. We like being able to walk or take a short cab to dinner and shops. The pools are lovely and it's always a fun scooter or ferry ride to the beaches.
“A Gem Indeed.......”
I normally don't write reviews. However, my stay at this hotel was so exceptional that I felt it was a must to do so. First, the hotel is located within walking distance of Front St. ( major shopping) and the Ferry, which made for a perfect location. Secondly, the hotel is simply beautiful inside and out (refined decor and well maintained gardens). Thirdly, all hotel staff I encountered from waiters and maids to doormen (especially doormen Carvel and Corey) were so attentive that you will feel like royalty and family! Lastly, restaurants Heritage Court and Harley's served up wonderful dishes and there is also a small coffee shop onsite for those who are need of a latte!
“Exceptional stay at Fairmount Hamilton”
We enjoyed our five night stay at the Fairmount Hamilton and the hotel service was extremely satisfying. The breakfast buffet each morning was an excellent way to start the day. The ferry to the Fairmount in South Hampton was very nice and we enjoyed the privacy beach there. The visit to the Crystal and Fanancy caves was quite a pleasant experience and we enjoyed lunch at the Swizzle Inn which was in close walking distance from the cave. We also enjoyed the short ferry ride to the Royal Navy Dock yard and museum and had a nice lunch. Take the museum tour as it is well worth the cost of admission. Overall, I would highly recommend the Fairmount Hamilton to anyone wishing for an outstanding visit to Bermuda. Thanks, Tom and Mary Ellen
