Very nice exclusive beach, many good restaurantsPosted Dec 13, 2014
Great ocean views, friendly staff. Very nice 30 min ferry to Hamilton for some other sights and shopping, included with staying at the hotel. Exclusive beach was a major plus. Great stay overall.

Beautiful location and excellent valuePosted Dec 4, 2014
Pros: The complimentary walking tours were led by very knowledgeable tour guides with personal backgrounds on the island.
Location: The location was perfect, with lots of opportunities to explore the island right from the hotel.
The Fairmont Southampton is conveniently located near beautiful beaches, with magnificent water views from every room. Facilities include free shuttle service to the beaches, airport and sister hotel downtown. The staff seemed to have thought of every detail to help make our stay more enjoyable. Every person we encountered was extremely friendly and customer focused. And, the food was delicious. The afternoon tea is not to be missed!

Outstanding AmenitiesPosted Nov 29, 2014
Pros: Almost everything
Location: A visit to the lighthouse is a great early morning activity. Then, beach, golf, tennis, scuba, snorkeling, or shopping are easy to reach.
The hotel has its own golf course, tennis courts, and beach which a shuttle can take you to, or you can just walk. There is also a complementary ferry to Hamilton for shopping. Restaurants on the premises are also very good. The staff is fantastic. They are friendly, courteous, and knowledgeable.

First time to Bermuda-great experiencePosted Nov 26, 2014
Pros: There is a big variety of things to do there.
Cons: They forgot to tell us that breakfast was included (not all packages include it). Giving us vouchers for each day would have been better.
Location: Excellent location and teaches are beautiful. There is a complimentary ferry to Hamilton, horseback riding and don't miss seeing the crystal caves!
The hiotel is beautiful and the staff provided excellent service. It is the kind of staff that actually remembers your name and is always making sure you are ok. The room was clean and up to date. The food was goog, not great.

Great hotel, excellent staff.Posted Nov 20, 2014
Pros: Setting, staff.
Cons: rake the seaweed from the beach access.
Location: Horsehoe bay public beach better than the hotel and just 2 min away.
It is a character hotel that has been largely updated to its elegant past. The staff are outstanding, the setting beautiful. The food was very good with a variety of restaurants. I would return again.

Marvelous place to stayPosted Nov 18, 2014
Cons: Water had chlorine taste which we were not used to. We are spoiled by Peets coffee and found ourselves wishing for coffee like we have at home.
We loved the room, decor, bed, mini bar, etc. Food was very good in each Hotel restaurant we tried Nice Keurig coffee maker in room, so bring your own favorite pods and be sure to use bottled water for best taste. Hotel staff were very pleasant and helpful. Lovely pool and beach with towels provided for you at both locations. We took suggested routes for daily walks with only one problem, the railway path seems to have been blocked by trees felled by the hurricane. Also went out to eat at Four Ways and Little Venice and recommend both. Large group of international rugby players were staying at the hotel but they only got noisy the early morning after the finals.

Overall, an excellent facility - golf beach diningPosted Nov 17, 2014
Cons: More frequent ferry schedule to Hamilton.
Location: On the southwest of the island, reasonably close to Dockyard and other beaches, like Horseshoe Bay.
There on business, so could not take part in all that the hotel had to offer. A great place to stay and relax with your significant other. Plenty to do on the property alone or kick back and do nothing at all.
