You Won't Regret Staying Here

Posted Jan 24, 2015
Pros: Location, Food, Beach, Pool/Hot Tub
Cons: There were some moldy spots in the bathroom that were overlooked by the cleaning staff.
The location was very convenient for those utilizing the public bus system. There are bus stops on both sides of the property. The food was fabulous, though pricy like the rest of the island. The best meals we had were at the resort! Most of the staff was great, but we encountered two rude employees during our stay. The room was nice, but there were a couple moldy areas in the bathroom. The beach at the resort was beautiful! There is a complementary ferry for transport to their sister property downtown. When we go back to Bermuda, we plan to stay at this resort.

Peaceful place with everything you need

Hotel was gorgeous and staff were super nice. Good food at comparable rates to other places on the island. Within walking distance of beaches and easy access to transportation. Will stay here again!

5 Night stay at an excellent Bermuda Hotel

Posted Jan 14, 2015
Pros: Everything. Shuttle bus is provided to facilities on either side of the island from the hotel.
Cons: Nothing, in my view.
Location: Golf, beaches, walking, tennis all available and plenty of hotel related restaurants. Bus and hotel ferry service available to town.
The Southampton Princess is a fine luxury hotel which in my view is without flaws. The facility and the staff are first rate. Bus service to and from any part of the Island is available and the Hotel ferry to Hamilton is an adventure and a plus. The Golf course, while only a par three is excellent, challenging and in fine shape. The only drawback for my taste is location. Wonderful beaches, walks and restaurants but I would rather be in Hamilton.

Great location on the beach

Posted Jan 4, 2015
Pros: Service, ambience, quality of rooms and food, activities
Cons: Water pressure in shower is too low.
Location: Right by the beach, free trolleys and ferries from the hotel. Great duty free shopping. We did not rent mopeds because it looked dangerous
Wonderful staff and restaurants are all excellent. The staff know you by name. Many activities were available over Christmas even though some things in the towns were closed. We stayed in the Gold rooms with the extra service which was fantastic to have food and drinks so handy as well as concierge service to help plan what we wanted to do. Our only disappointment was the water pressure was very low; we heard other guests express dissatisfaction with that, as well. This was our first time both in Bermuda and at a Fairmont hotel and we would definitely go again, both to Bermuda and to other Fairmont hotels.

Excellent hotel. One of the best I have stayed at. Yes a little pricey but great customer service and nice amenities make it well worth it. The private beach and transportation is wonderful. I would highly recommend.

Xmas in Bermuda

Posted Jan 1, 2015
Second visit to the Fairmont at this time of year. Excellent across the board. Great location to explore west end of the island, and especially the southern beaches. Hotel offers free ferry to Hamilton but public transportation on island (buses and ferries) are excellent. Hotel at this time of year offers many actives - some free - favorite for the kids was fire pit and smores every night. Beach was great, though water temp not for everyone perhaps ... but we had fun. And the outdoor and indoor pools cover the bases. Food at hotel restaurants was good, Bacci was excellent. Bermuda is pricey but can find bargains at a local take out on Middle Road 20th from Waterlot, and Market Place supermarket a little further down the road toward Hamilton.

Great hotel, very attentive and friendly staff.

Pros: Proximity to beach and ferry.
Cons: The ferry schedule between Hamilton and South Hampton was limited. a few more trips during the day would have been helpful.
Location: Very nice beach, the sand is almost powder like. The Bar tender at the beach was was great.
Great hotel! Excellent location! Very good food! Internet is free if you are a Fairmont President's Club member. Make to sign up even if you dont travel much. The tennis courts are in excellent condition and the golf course looked beautiful.
