Pros: Bed was comfy. Breakfast was perfect, bread, meat, scrambled eggs, fruits, cereals, juice, all kinds of coffees... Instant coffee and tea in room
Cons: The only thing is that the room next to ours was a smoking one... we could smell it. They should have separate floors for smokers. The only bad side.
Location: Location perfect, 2 orners from Main Train Station and directly downtown. Could not be better.
The room was ok for price. Standard and clean. Staff very nice. We asked for an iron and a second pillow and it was not a problem.

Basic hotel - fair pricePosted Sep 15, 2013 on Hotels.com
The hotel was only half a mile from the "old town" of Bern. It was clean, and the breakfast was good. Overall, a good value.

On a hot summer day the lack of air conditioning is a seriuous issue. Otherwise a very good stay.

Hotel Ador, BernPosted Jul 21, 2013
Location: Good central position
Hotel is walking distance to main station, plus central to city old and new. Room was small but clean and tidy. Staff was helpful. Breakfast was basic but more than enough, no eggs, bacon etc. Recommend for short stay

Close to station. Easy access to alstadt. No air con in standard rooms but not an issue. Quiet room, comfy bed, decent bathroom. Breakfast on par with other hotels of similar standard. Complimentary bottled water, tea and coffee facilities in room.

Mediocre hotelPosted May 22, 2013
Okay, but not recommended. Some Staff were friendly and others were poorly informed. The staff accommodated our early check in. It was a great location for travellers by train. Sadly, there were some issues. The inside of the duvet, which was supposed to be white was grey and stained. Pillows were inadequate i.e one very thin pillow for each guest. There was inadequate closet space. The breakfast was adequate.

Extended stayPosted May 20, 2013 on Hotels.com
My mom, aunt and I stayed here for 9 nights. Every day the room was neat and clean when we came back from day trips. They provided everything we needed, like electrical adaptors. The hotel is only about 5 blocks from the train station and close to downtown shops and bus stops. We enjoyed our stay there as we visited places related to our ancestry.

Affordable and sufficientPosted Mar 27, 2013 on Hotels.com
Nothing fancy but near the main train station and really everything since you can walk from one end of Bern city center to the other in about 20 minutes. Not fancy but clean and good breakfast since a coffee anywhere else in town is minimum about 5$. Worth it for what you pay.

Cheap and cheerful!Posted Mar 22, 2013
Cheap and cheerful hotel, good break from the regular boring hotel chains. Each room seemed to have a balcony. Although the floors are tiled you receive a complimentary slippers to keep your feet worm. The breakfast if also quite decent especially that you are able to get freshly squeezed orange juice.
