“Hotel in the heart of Bern”

The hotel advertisement on Expedia showed "parking available", but as most downtown hotels in Bern, they do not have parking. We were using the closest city underground parking, and hotel validated parking tickets, which slightly helped with the significant parking fees. Hotel management was very helpfull with overcoming this unconvenience .

“A nice Hotel”

Bern is an small city, well downtown is tiny but gorgeous. This hotel is really nice, and it shouldnt be marked as 2 stars hotel, because indeed is above of it. I got surprised because is around 3 blocks of the railway station of bern, although we lost time because the railway exit is tricky!. The hotel seems recently modified, and rooms are so confortable, basically the beds, this hotel has no tub, but shower is ok. Everything is clean. The breakfast is really nice, in contrast with other breakfast in some european hotels, and guess has internet free access! and they have a roof terrace where you can see this lovely city. They have a terrace of tv, thea and coffee. My family and me got very satisfied about this hotel. Staff is nice too.

“Better than you would expect from a 3 star hotel”

I would not know anything negative to write about this hotel. American travelers would find the rooms very small, but this is a mid price hotel in the lovely old city center where space is at a premium. In comparison to the 4 star Hotel Bern the interior design is more utilitarian at Hotel Kreuz. Otherwise both Hotels are very comparable. On the third floor there are two computers and to ethernet connections for free internet access.

“Good value”

Central location, free coffee/tea is a nice feature, standard (i.e. small ) rooms
