We enjoyed our stay with a fantastic view!
It was a really good stay. We love their balcony which has a fantastic view. They gave us a family room and it provided an enough space for my family. The staffs were friendly and provided us a discount card for us to take bus for free. We also use their microwave and kettle to heat up our dinner. One downside is far away from the station. However, it creates a greater scene and quiet environment. Their bathroom is a little small than we think.

Very nice area, walkable to downtown to enjoy the surrounding, see Temple Saint-Étienne. Nice and clean. Staff was very friendly showing around. Well highly recommend it to others

Very basic, nothing in the rooms but 2 beds and storage room and a safe. only 1 socket in the whole room as well. Brekkie was ok and slept well tho! The free bus pass for the town was a bonus as its a good 10 mins walk up hill.

You can do better
It was an ok hotel, but way too expensive for what it was. You don't feel like you get a good value for the money paid. The hotel is closed on Sundays, so you don't even get to use the amenities or the chance to have a beer at the bar if you're there on a Sunday. Also the breakfast was very sad and basic.

Great location but make sure you are prepared
The hotel was nice . Only issue was we only had one plug in the room but the hotel let us borrow a extender strip so I can plug in more then one . Also we were in the shared bathroom and showers … only two showers and two toilets for like 10 rooms so glad we didn’t come during the busy time but great set up for like a group of friends . Also you can hear everything through the walls. I still give the hotel a high rating because the location and free bus pass. The breakfast was alright too. Also the amazing view is great too !

Perfect stay and dinner
The food is delicious and the owners are very friendly. The room is simple but spacious and clean. The view is wonderful. I recommend this hotel.

It was a really nice place to stay. I have no particular complaints or gripes. The staff was super helpful and kind, the room was exactly as advertised (very basic) and the location and views are to die for. I guess I’m still trying to wrap my head around the cost vs benefit....but hey, it’s what you get when you stay right in the middle of the mountains in a super beautiful touristy spot. Overall great stay and I do recommend.

The mountain view from the room was impressive! Though the location a bit far with 15-20 mins walk to the station, the peaceful environment and view worths it. The room size is ok but not as spacious as i thought

All was good, and the dinner at the restaurant very good, but one of us two had a " night guest" which left very itchy "souvenirs "for the following days. unfortunate, but very real.

This hotel more than exceeded our expectations. It is slightly removed from the tourist trap portion of the town, which is great; it has arguably the best view in the valley and is much more peaceful/quiet than other hotels in the town. The staff was great, super fun and easy going. The rooms were large and comfortable. I would recommend this hotel to everyone.

Perfect location
This hotel is phenomenal. We had a mountain side view with access to the patio. Once we saw this we extended our stay another night. The price was right for the location and included a typical Swiss buffet breakfast which was filling and we were able to start our day with that. Beds were comfortable- pillows were quiet flat but we survived. Washroom was nice and clean. Staff was very pleasant and accommodating. The location was great. We were close to Lauterbrunnen and Interlaken and could easily do a day at each and return to our comfortable little chalet room. Good wifi access once you can get it to work (took me a few tries to understand lol user error I guess). I would recommend- HIGHLY.

This is a relatively small hotel about a 10 minute walk from "downtown". Pinewood walls make the rooms very cozy. Great view from our window and from the decks. Great restaurant on premises. Very friendly staff. WiFi is good but required periodic re-authentication.

Great staff and amazing views from the rooms
Upon arriving the staff was extremely welcoming and very organized. The rooms were very tidy and the view out our window was amazing. The dinner we ate there was tasty, and the breakfast bar contained an excellent spread of delicious bread, jams, spread, cold meats, boiled eggs, yogurt, granola, coffee and tea. Would definitely stay here again.

This was by far the best hotel for us. The hotel was easily accessible using local bus. The view from the hotel was breathtaking. The hotel staffs were super friendly and welcoming. We really enjoyed the breakfast. The cheese and coffee were my favourite. I would highly recommend the hotel and would love to visit again in future. To the staffs at Alpenblick, you are doing a great job!

Positives: breakfast was good but the view was amazing!! Shared bathroom and toilet were clean. Negatives: small rooms and a bit cramped. Location was quite far from town and hilly so if u hv a lot of bags, u would need to get a taxi

This is a great hotel in Grindelwald! Right in the main part of town and 2 minuted from the moutain lift. Rooms were great and shower was large. We stayed here for the first half of our stay and wanted to return for the spectaular view!
