We booked rooms 203 and 303, both were some of the largest in the hotel and had balconies looking over the park where paragliders rain down throughout the day. The rooms were very nice and included free beverages in the mini fridge. The only complaint, and it was a big one in my mind, was the lack of AC. We visited in early April and the daytime temperature was 65F and the rooms were hot so we were forced to sleep with the windows open and the noise of the traffic and people outside was not pleasant. They’ve clearly taken an old building and completely renovated it very nicely. Why they didn’t add AC is an unfortunate mistake.

The hotel is in a great position overlooking the large green area. The backdrop is a great view of the mountains. Check in included a pass for the local buses and trains. Rooms were well equipped. The service too was great and receptionists helpful. They even gave us a breakfast bag as we had to leave early on our last day.

The front desk staff was really helpful but there was a one lady cook in kitchen was really rude and recist. I felt cause the way she was treating others and us was totally different. I would never wanna go this property.

We got there early and lucky enough to have a parking spot (there is about 8) and room was ready. Room was clean and spacious with view on the street. Easy access to everything. Breakfast was really good as well. We almost stayed for an extra night but ran out of time.

I stayed at a room with balcony, facing the open field and mountain. Everyday can see paragliders on my bed. Clean and spacious room, with free minibar. Probably one of the best hotel I ever stayed in EU area. Ask for the new wing! Very new!

This is a great hotel! The staff are so friendly and helpful. I wish I had written down all their names. Marc was extremely knowledgeable and helped me plan my days in the Jungfrau region. I recommend this hotel as it’s within walking distance to trains, shopping, and restaurants. It is also quiet. The little refrigerator in the room came with a couple of beers, waters, and soft drinks…all free! The TV was great as it elevates out of a cabinet at the bottom of the bed. I had a balcony with a nice view. The breakfast was delicious.

Stayed only one night and checked out. There was no air conditioning and if you open the windows everyone can see in your room and the street noise was terrible. Breakfast was below par as well. I would not recommend this hotel or the area

The hotel is within walking distance from train station, with various restaurants along the road. It has special design and nice garden space, which everyone enjoys together with the breakfast. Fantastic experience! Our room was spacious, clean, and had two balconies with beautiful, large windows that offered amazing views. The staff were always kind & helpful. Breakfast was the highlight with many delicious options. The surrounding area was peaceful and very safe. Was also only a 10-minute pleasant walk from the train station. Would highly, highly recommend Hotel Du Nord!

The staff at this hotel was so kind. Unfortunately it is under construction as well as the area around so quite noisy. Eclectic decor. Breakfast was lacking and I ended up skipping.

The hotel is very old and tired. There is no restaurant service other than breakfast, and there is really no bar service. Breakfast was included with the room, but the women that work the breakfast service clearly don’t like their jobs. They are very rude. The room was comfortable, but nothing more.

The location was perfect and nothing beat the breakfast which was included each morning, amazing! Our room had a balcony that overlooked the field where the paragliders landed. So fun to watch! Our plug adaptors that we brought along did not work at the property, but they did provide a USB port for phone charging. Great spot close to everything!

Beautiful, comfortable rooms, excellent location. Clean and good breakfast. Would recommend! Rooms appeared to be newly renovated, so clean and the breakfast was very convenient. The castle grounds are next to the hotel and the main shopping street full of restaurants are steps away. Very happy with our stay.

Great place to stay
Very clean, comfortable room with gorgeous view of the mountains from the windows and terrace. The breakfast was extensive and delicious and the wait staff very thoughtful and attentive. The front desk agents were quite helpful in suggesting activities, restaurants and travel advice. The hotel is on a beautiful green and easily accessible to interlaken ost, also within walking distance of interlaken west station. The free buss pass we received was useful as well.

We picked this hotel as a base to visit the Jungfrajoch and the Schilthorn. 1/2km from Interlaken Ost train station was very convenient. Warm buffet breakfast and mini bar included. Also the chance to buy the Winterlaken travel pass for the trains, gondolas in the area. Close to shopping, restaurants and groceries. I'd stay here again.

The Hotel Du Nord was excellent. The location, the price, staff, the breakfast is included in the stay which was a nice bonus. We even booked an extra night because we were so happy with it. Would recommend to anyone looking to stay in Interlaken.

Great hotel in a great location. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Fantastic hot and cold buffet breakfast. Our room was very clean and spacious. Would definitely stay here again. Highly recommend.
