Well-located, well-connected and great viewsPosted Sep 28, 2012
Great views of the alps from south-facing rooms. Fast and free internet. Decent breakfasts. Close to the BOB station in this car-free town, so you don't have to deal with taxis.
Nice hotel.Posted Sep 26, 2012 on Hotels.com
This hotel is right next to the railway station in Wengen. If you want a nicer view or a quiter locale then you should select a hotel which is a little outside town. We had a room facing the town railway station. Stunning views of the mountains but noise level of late night revelry does come into the room.

perfect for us!Posted Sep 6, 2012 on Hotels.com
My wife and were heading up to the Jungfraujoch "top of Europe" and Wengen looked like a quaint place to lodge. We could not have chosen a better place than this hotel. Very warm and caring greeting by the front desk personnel, met every request with a smile and the room was clean/bathroom roomy. Not ultra modern, but I didn't expect it to be....it's in the Swiss Alps! If back again, will definitely stay! Didn't try the restaurant, so no advice there, but they WERE busy!

Great hotel for a familyPosted Jul 5, 2012
Location: Awesome location overlooking the Lauterbrunnen Valley. It's like being inside of a postcard.
We reserved a room for four people. It was very spacious and clean. The people were extremely accommodating and remembered our names at breakfast each morning. The breakfast was excellent as was dinner. Dinner is a five course meal, so with two kids in tow we only ate there once. The other nights we went to the Coop next door and picked up groceries for meals.

Didn't want to leavePosted May 29, 2012
Pros: The relaxation spas and sauna area, 3 different saunas :)
Cons: They don't fill the mini fridge
Location: Overlooking cliffs and waterfalls and looking up to the snowy alps. 30sec walk to the station
It's a beautiful hotel, great location, near the train station and perfect spot to hike and go up into the alps. Amazing balcony views and the spas and saunas were just perfect, honestly didn't want to leave this hotel..

PerfectPosted Feb 3, 2012 on Hotels.com
This hotel is perfectly located: Just across the street from the small and quiet Wengen train stop. Located at the heart of the Wengen village just 100 steps from the Mannlichen gondola and ski-lift. The rooms are very spacious (2 sitting chairs with table, full desk, spacious balcony with incredible views). The Silberhorn restaurant has good quality, authentic Swiss food. And the patio/terrasse is perfect for apres-ski or coffee with magnificent views. Okay, enough already, I sound like an advertisement. I would say the only downside is the price...but its Switzerland and everything is expensive. And you certainly will not find another 4-star hotel for cheaper in this are.

Hotel in Wengen Switzerland has good and bad pointsPosted Aug 18, 2010
This hotel is conveniently located across from the railroad station and in a beautiful area. The check-in process went smoothly, but our room was not available. We were told that our bags would be taken to the room later, but we found them still near the desk when we returned several hours later. The hotel restaurant on the first floor was open, and we attempted to dine there. The waitress appeared to be clueless, was very slow, and paid little attention to us or to other customers. The salad which i ordered was probably the worst I have ever had in Europe and overpriced. The breakfast buffet was plentiful, but all of the items were of mediocre quality. The room was comfortably furnished, albeit a bit dingy. We did not receive the standard basket with slippers and robes which other guests at the spa area received; possibly these were not part of the expedia special rate.

Wonderful Hotel with Beautiful Free SpaPosted Aug 15, 2010
My wife and I stayed in Wengen this month and were super impressed with this hotel. The hotel is decorated in a different fashion and a little dated, but our bathroom had just been renovated and was beautiful and modern. The facility is the closest in town to the train stop and has a beautiful view of the swiss alps. The best part of this hotel is the free spa that is brand new, and has a solarium area with lounge chairs for reading in the sun indoors, a sauna and steam room, as well as various aromatherapy and hydrotherapy showers, whirlpool, and features. My wife is a spa lover and she was amazed at the quality of the spa and the features. We had the place to ourselves most of the time as well. We ate at the ala carte restaurant and it was very good as well.
