“Wish we could have stayed a month - Super / Superb”

We stayed at Beau Rivage in Interlaken 5 nights and, with SwissRailPass took 5 rail expeditions to the nearby Mountains, Zermatt / Matterhorn, Montreau, and Bern. For this purpose Beau Rivage is Superb. We also tremendously enjoyed the bountiful Buffet Breakfast, the (squeaky clean) swimming pool with view of the Jungfrau, the (naked) sauna/steam room and the friendly helpful service. We would also like to add that Interlaken gets "short shrift" in the travel books.

“One of the lovliest hotels in Interlaken”

There are only two 5-star hotels in Interlaken, and this is one of them. (5-star by European standards, 4 by American.) A very short walk from the main train station. Lovely rooms with gorgeous views of the river and Alps. Very friendly service from the front desk. I asked for a room with a view - no problem. Beautiful building, beautiful lobby. Gorgeous at night. Free bike rental from the front desk is a fun way to explore the town. I didn't experience these personally, but this hotel also has a fabulous spa and buffet breakfast. Welcome letter and drink from the bar was a nice touch, as was the turn-down service with a Swiss chocolate. Beautiful marble bathrooms. A first-class establishment.

This hotel is an exceptional and beautiful hotel, we cannot fault it. Would love to return again one day.

“Better than average for a pricey location”

As we got a good deal our expectations were not too high. Although this is five star I think a lot of travellers expect something more up to date now. However, this is a lovely old building just away from the main drag but close to the Ost station for getting about. Staff were lovely, it has fantastic views and the best breakfast I have ever had at any hotel

“Real 5-stars Hotel”

This is a very nice hotel. Skilled staff. Hotel's parking. Service, pricing, location were very good. We've got a lot of information about tourist attractions in Interlaken from concierge service of the hotel. As well as restaurant recommendations. Also, we've got an upgrate for the class of the room. We were extremely satisfied

“Fantastic Hotel, Great location”

Superbly elegant hotel with a great location in town to the train station as well as anything else. Breakfast is served very nicely indoors or out by the river. Absolutely would recomend this Hotel to anyone whom enjoys comfort and great service. Very nice indoor pool and steam room with limited workout equipment.

“Impressive view, Fantastic Staff”

This was a great pick for the money. We had a small balcony with a table that looked out to the Jungfrau. There is an indoor pool with an electronic water massage (fantastic) and a steam room (with showers that can be ice cold or a variable temp - try the ice cold for a shock to your system) as well as a sauna and a spa. We didn't have enough time to try out the spa - but it sounded luxurious. The pool and steam room did a great job of relaxing us after our long hikes. The room is about a 5 minute walk from Interlaken OST (East) on paved (non-cobbled) sidewalks. The breakfast buffet is wonderful- it included Swiss Muesli and yoghurt as well as scrambled eggs, fresh squeezed orange juice, and champagne. If this hotel is in your budget, don't miss it.

“Top class”

A lovely hotel, not five minutes walk from Interlaken Ost station, the hub for exploring the Alps. Everything about this five star residence was class. Immaculate courteous staff. The buffet breakfast was generous and dining in the hotel was a culinary experience for the tastebuds. Top class chefs. A good indoor pool and workout room. Enjoyed our 3 night stay.

“Would recommend this hotel to everyone”

The hotel is conveniently located 200 meters from the Interlaken Ost train station and is within a 10 minute walk of the downtown restaurants and shopping area. The view of the mountains from our room / balcony was incredible and the entire hotel staff was extremely hospitable.
