Delightful FarmhousePosted Aug 16, 2013
Pros: Spacious and light farmhouse. Very friendly owner
Location: Easy to find off the A1 and near Holy Island
We recently stayed for two nights whilst touring Northumberland. Brockmill is an excellent base for visiting Holy Island. It is a peaceful, spacious farmhouse . Anne made us very welcome and was able to supply plenty of local information. Our room was , very clean and overlooked a well kept garden. The breakfasts were delicious - plenty of choice. We had not realised till we arrived that there was a kitchen for guests use. This could help when eating out as there is nowhere within close walking distance for supper. The fridge was very useful for storing picnic lunch supplies.

Relaxing and comfortable.Posted Aug 4, 2013
Pros: The welcome and the relaxing atmosphere We felt as though we were in our own home.
Location: Near to Berwick upon Tweed and off the road to Lindisfarne (Holy Island).
We were made to feel very much at home and comfortable. Nothing was too much trouble. We couldn't fault the welcome, the room or the food. Would definitely stay again.

Perfect B & B for a Holy Island stop-over.Posted Jul 23, 2013 on Hotels.com
A great location close to Holy Island. Don't let the main line railway or the long dusty track to the farm put you off. Neither are a problem. Furniture in room a bit dated and could not keep window open without the aid of a plastic cup. Owners very helpful with local knowledge and on hand for any needs. Breakfast very good.

Big room with big bath room (a shame it was not en suite) Nice breakfast. Lovely chat to fellow guests on big breakfast table.

Brock Mill is what everyone wants in a B&B - from the physical setting, which is lovely, to the warm and gracious hosts. All in all, it was a delightful stay. Thank you for the pleasure you added to our trip.
