“Not impressed”

Once they discovered we got our reservation through Expedia, I felt that we were treated like second class citizens. The first room had a strange odor and needed to be changed. And the second room was not much better. Both on the same street level and away from the other guests. Definitely would not return to that hotel.

“Great deal!”

The staff was very nice, the location was perfect, room was great, and the price was definitely right! Breakfast buffet had pancakes, sausage/bacon, eggs, bagels, toast, etc. Couldn't have asked for better, and we would definitely stay here again. Also a fairly quick walk to the beach, just about 2 blocks.

“I expected more for that kind of money”

We were put into a handicap accessable room which is an inconvenience for those who are not being that there is no counter space in the bathroom, the shower is low to the ground, sink mirror to low to shave, and there is no bath tub. The beds had no central support (and we tried both of them). My husband and I were rolling into the center like we were the insides of a taco. We are close but this made it difficult to sleep. They also seemed short on cleaning personnel, the one woman who cleaned our room did a great job, but she was unable to get to our room until 2pm or later each day. The breakfast was good. The pool was well maintained. There were plenty of things to do within walking. For the cost I am not sure we would ever stay here again. LOVE the area though.

“Short Stay”

My family of 5 stayed for only one night and we would definitely go back. We were able to check in a little early, the room was clean and sufficient for us. The breakfast buffet was good, plenty to choose from and the food that needed to be served hot was. Even after check out we were offered the use of the pool for the reminder of the day and the use of the outside shower facilities before we left. WeI will certainly use this hotel again and recommend to others as well.

“Would have no problem staying again...”

-No issues with parking -Staff, Room and Ameneties were average -Walk to the beach is about 2 blocks (Have to walk around Sea Colony) -Breakfast selection was decent -Room was clean -Bathroom had no shelving -A/C unit was a little loud

“I'd like ALL new linens please...”

This was a last minute booking, but the room was a king with a jacuzzi. Ok -no view of ocean..but..Checked right in. Room was pre-chilled and on grabbing blanket to knock off the chill found sand all in blanket that was on the bed! So they don't change the blankets!! As an Inspector (of Housing, including Hotels) and knowing of the bed bug situation this was horrifying. Linen was changed. Hair dryer overheated, bathroom fan didn't work.The staff was very nice..plenty of towels..but for the cost I've had a much much nicer room before.

“Easy and convenient”

A very clean and convenient hotel. We decided on a last minute getaway, made our reservation on Tuesday night and checked in on Wednesday for two nights. Worked out perfectly!

“Very satisfied”

The hotel location, staff and maintenance are very very satisfactory. Wish they had better menu for the breakfast, bigger TV and included wi-fi for internet access. But I always love to stay in Holiday-Inn. They are the best. Very friendly and helpful staff. Keep up the good work.

“Decent but overpriced”

I wanted to have a nice getaway with my boyfriend and booked this as a last minute trip. The price was a little expensive considering it isn't located on the beach or with a view of anything. The room was nice and clean but there were some mold spots in the bathroom. I know it may not be a big deal to some people but it was to me--they didn't have those cute little bottles of shampoo and conditioner in the bathrooms. Overall I would recommend this hotel but it wouldn't be my first choice.

Area recommendations

Rehobeth Beach is great to visit but it's a little far -- 20 minutes without traffic and right now there is construction on Route 1 which makes it at least 30-45 minutes each way.

Must see

Dogfishhead Brew and Eats in Rehobeth -- awesome place!
