“Excellent Hotel, very convenient Location”

Best value for Washington dc visitors. Very clean room and bathroom, staff went out of their way to help, Good breakfast. Very close to the Metro red line. Hotel offers shuttle service to metro station. As a frequent traveler, i have seldom found hotels that completely outclassed their Star Rating, but this is One of them!

“Very nice hotel”

This is a very nice hotel. It was very clean, they serve a full breakfast every morning, and the staff is so friendly. We had our dogs with us and the hotel has a huge grassy area which is very convenient. I would definitely stay here again and recommended it to anyone.

Situated at Shady Grove, convenient for Metro and sensibly priced. Staff a delight, and courtesy bus very convenient, staff always responded quickly. For us it was ideal for sight seeing in Washington. Rooms well appointed with fridge,microwave and free internet access, very clean and well maintained. Complementary breakfast satisfactory, Cereal, toast, pancakes, fruit, coffee, tea etc, not just doughnuts & coffee. Very pleasant would stay there again.

“Excellent Staff - Willing to go the extra step!!!”

There have only been two hotels that I have ever stayed in that I would give this high of a remark to. The staff was helpful and asked immediately if we would be using local transportation and when we said yes, immediately produced a metro map and instructions on how to arrange the hotels free shuttle to the station as well as where brochures were if we were interested. When we were looking at the brochures in the rack discussing what and where we wanted to plan to sight see the next day - staff stopped unsolicited and asked if they could help and shared suggestions as to best ways to see sights and save money. When we asked about restuarants we were given a map and directions along with a list of restuartants that offered discounts for guests of the hotel. When we asked about a mall or someplace to just "walk around" and get out a bit in the evening, they suggested that instead of a mall, a place close by with a lake, shops and restuarants as it was a beautiful evening. The room was clean, and the service was exceptional. I would recommend it to anyone staying in that area. Outstanding staff!

“Affordable DC stay”

My girlfriend and I stayed at this location in the past and would stay there again. It's a short 15-minute walk to the Metro Red Line and breakfast buffet is large and tasty while the outdoor pool is clean and well maintained. We had a problem with air conditioner in our room the first day and it was promptly replaced with a new unit by the following afternoon. All in all, hotel staff aim to please and appear to work hard ensuring visitors have a pleasant stay.

“Review Title: two and a half star better than the 3 star”

Hotel Review: I stayed one night at the 3 star hotel(the interviewing company paid that higher price) then I moved to the comfort inn because I was paying and it was less expensive. The comfort Inn had a breakfast that was edible for FREE, the other place wanted 20 bucks for a similar breakfast. The 3 star place wanted money just for the spring water in the room. The comfort Inn room was a bit smaller, but it had a microwave and fridge in the room. It had all the necessary things. It had a more central location and a shuttle to the Metro for downtown DC. All in all, just a better place to stay and they were not trying to nickel and dime more profit at every turn. Extremely friendly service at Comfort Inn: about the best ever for me at a hotel.

I found this hotel to be very nice. It was beautifully decorated and extremely clean. I would recommend it to anyone who wants to stay in an upscale hotel at an affordable price. I would definately stay here again.

“Great Deal”

Very nice hotel for the price. Great shuttle to the metro. Even offered to pay for a cab when the shuttle had gone for a longer errand, however shuttle returned first. Very helpful staff-willing to give tips for seeing DC with children and accomadate them during breakfast with high chairs and such.
