Very nice location, very convenient to Metro

Posted Oct 14, 2014
Pros: Location, cleanliness, convenience
My family sees a doctor in D.C. every four months and we always stay at this hotel. Very comfortable with friendly staff and convenient location right off 270 and at the end of the Metro line. Nice continental breakfast.

Convenient hotel close to Washington Metro system

Posted Sep 16, 2014
Pros: I especially enjoy the buffet breakfast in the morning with its cereals, juices, hard boiled eggs, toast and coffee. Excellent parking facility right
Cons: The card-operated door lock was a bit stubborn but always opened with an extra push on the second try.
Location: A 20-minute walk, or hotel shuttle to the Shady Grove Metro station that is the terminus of the Red Line into Washington. A 10-minute walk to Enterpri
A very pleasant stay. The room, as well as the rest of the hotel, is kept spotlessly clean. The buffet breakfast is complete and always ready on time. Two computers with printers and Internet access are available in the business center. Although I used the shuttle between the hotel and the Metro station when leaving, for my other trips I found the 20-minute walk between the Metro station and the hotel to be a pleasant bit of exercise.

Very good experience except for TV reception. Satellite service compromised by stormy weather every day!

Great place, good times, Love this Hotel!!!

Posted Aug 28, 2014
Pros: Great Price, friendly service, top notch clean hotel with a great breakfast!
Cons: This hotel is Awesome! Nothing needs to be improved because everything is that Awesome!
Location: The hotel is in a great spot in Gaithersburg right off of Rt. 355. Entertainment, Restaurants are in walking distance!
My stay at the Comfort Inn in Gaithersburg, MD was Awesome! My kids and I had a lot of fun and were very comfortable! The staff was so friendly and very nice, it felt like being with family here! We had a great breakfast every morning!!! Love the (make your own Waffles) and the selection from eggs & sausage to bagels, toast, cereal and love the coffee was fantastic!!! The pool was a lot of fun and the life guard was cool! My son loved the exercise room and my daughter was all about the free WIFI. I loved the fact that the hotel has a coin washer/dryer for the guests to use and it was a good price!! The room we stayed in was clean and inviting!! If we ran out of anything like clean towels and paper products, the staff at the hotel made sure we had it! If I ever need a hotel in Gaithersburg, MD again, I will be staying at the Comfort Inn for sure...

Great hotel, close to the Metro

Posted Jul 14, 2014
Pros: The staff is the hotel's biggest asset.
Cons: The pool was a little dirty, but it is outside, so some of that should be expected.
Location: Very close to the Metro which is about a 20 min ride to DC.
The staff is excellent. They go out of their way to accomodate. The shuttle was out when we requested it, so they paid for a taxi instead of making us wait until it returned. Richard is a gem, so great with kids. The rooms are clean and the beds are very comfortable. There is a microwave and refrig in the room which is nice when staying for a few days. Really enjoyed my stay.

Overall good value, but very basic

Posted Jun 23, 2014
Pros: Cheap
I booked this hotel to avoid paying a higher rate at a conference center hotel just down the road at White Flint. It is very basic accommodation but reasonably clean and modern. Breakfast is also very basic and there is little there for vegans (which I am) except some fruit and cheap fruit juice - bring your own soy milk if you want to have some cereal. It is important to note that it is a good 15-20 minute brisk walk to the nearest metro station (Shady Grove), which is nearly a mile away down a very busy industrial road. Nearby restaurants mainly fast food, so don't expect anything healthy or nice.
