“Great and relaxing.”

This place was a wonderful place, a great price, and easy access to the Metro to DC. We enjoyed the location, the quietness, and the shuttle service to the Metro and back. We had such a great time and were grateful for the comforts that were provided...ie breakfast and coffee, and shuttle service. The only thing the place needs to do is fix the fire alarm. It is too sensitive and it went off in the morning due to someone making a waffle in the breakfast area. The alarm was piercing and did not get shut off for over 20 minutes. We all waited outside until the fire department came and shut it off. Other than that this place was a great place to stay in order to visit the sites of Washington DC.

“Exactly what was needed”

The Sleep Inn Shady Grove provided the basics - clean room, quick check in and check out, directions to the metro station - without a lot of "extras" not needed for an overnight business stay.

The hotel was tucked away from traffic noise...very quiet...the shower was huge...bed comfortable..an enjoyable stay...

“Very Nice Hotel”

The rooms and hallways were clean. Had a fridge in room--nice touch. The front desk was very helpful at check-in with directions to Metro. Shuttle to Metro does not run on weekends. Overall, for the money,its a great value as the hotel is close to DC; about a 20-25 min. ride on the Metro to Metro Center. Definitely will stay there again!

We are looking forward to going back to see more of the sights and yes we will consider this hotel for the stay. Staff were wonderful and very helpful and getting up around. No concerns. Rooms were clean and the maid service was very prompt. Very satisfied with the accomodations.

“Great Hotel for a Great Price”

Very comfy rooms with tons of privacy and a great bathroom with a huge shower. Free continental breakfast and very helpful staff. Would recommend!
