“Not Impressed”

Room was very small with no air conditioning. Promised amenities of continental breakfast and welcoming bottle of wine have been discontinued. Was a good location and staff was friendly.

“Nice Hotel”

It was a cute room and hotel was right in downtown Big Bear. It was clean and staff was friendly. The downside was the room we received had only a small window in the door, se we had to leave our door open for air. Also, the King size bed was too big for the small room. They should have put either a queen bed or maybe two singles in it because you could barely get aroung the bed to get into the bathroom. A large person would definetely have had problems. I would hope this room is not the average size of the other rooms. I would recommend the hotel provided you get one of the rooms with a window and a bigger room.

“Not Impressed”

The hotel was clean, although the pool was green and had hoses hanging out of it. The room was nice and clean, But came back after dinner and could not get into the room. The electronic door opener was dead. The manager had a maintinance man there pretty quick, but it took quite a while to fix. The manager opened up the room next door so we could wait indoors, but offered no compensation for our inconvenience. We had a king size bed, but the mattress was pretty hard. Over all, the place was ok, but for the money, will probably try somewhere else next time.

“Location ok, but disappointed”

We were not warmly welcomed. The front desk staff person was not helpful when asked about things to do and places to see near by. He pointed out Bowling Barn across the street and that is it. We were walking distance from The Village was convenient and we made it to a few different and delicious eating places (Peppercorn Grille and a Pizza place).We were disappointed in the room layout. The tub was nice, but weird to have in the common area-fine for two people. The TV was placed high upon the wall with the uncomfortable futon beneath making relaxing/watching TV not worth it (especially for your neck). Kitchenette amenities were nice, but room was laid out awkwardly. Definitely disappointed in the room.

“Terrible place!”

This hotel didn't have a working air condition in a hot weatherand and couple of people staying there , including us,, had to open the doors to get SOME air. The concierge left at 10:30 pm .

“Will surely go back to this hotel given the chance”

The room is cozy, the king bed is great and the room is very clean.

“Would go again!”

Very nice room, clean, well stocked kitchen and spa tub with fireplace really made it special

“Fine for the Price -”

The hotel was clean, friendly staff, and good price. Nothing fancy!
