“Great View on the Lake”

Nice place, convenient location walking distance to the Village. Pretty good restaurant...dinner really tasty, breakfast...not so much. Lakeview room (3rd floor) really nice, fridge and flat screen in room.

“Pleasantly Surprised”

I was pleasantly surprised at what a good deal I got for the Lake Arrowhead Resort. The staff was very friendly and very helpful. The pool and private beach at the resort was so nice. I felt like I had my own little private getaway. Also, the village was walking distance from the hotel which was convenient. And, the private gate to the trail for hiking around the Lake was a neat little surprise again. The room was very comfortable with perfect amenities. I was surprised that they stocked the refridgerator, bar, and snacks for you...of course you had to pay for them. However, I had never seen anything like it before even at other fancy hotels I've stayed at. When entering in the resort and looking at the decorations it seemed very inviting just to hang out in the lounge area. Overall, I was very pleased with my stay. Also, to our surprise it happened to be the weekend of the woody car and boat show so that was nice to see as well.

“A Local Gem!”

At the price we were offered this was a great get-a-way! The property is a sort of 'rustic plush' affair. Great setting but service and housekeeping was a bit spotty. The cleaning staff left us a very clean room but forgot to replenish the hand soap. One night the restaurant was excellent and the next night medicore. Current changes in the restaurant management should ensure consistant quality. The new manager was truly interested in constructive feedback. We'll go back.

“Very nice, we will be back.”

The rooms are very nice, we had a lake view room and could not have asked for a better view. The exterior could use some touching up of paint but the winters are pretty harsh there so I understand. The service was great and the spa was MUCH better than I expected. The only complaint was that the walls are a little thin and we could hear the people next door, there were several weddings that weekend and a pre-wedding party was going on, however, at 10 PM they moved on and all was good. The private beach was a very relaxing place to just hang out. The restaurant was okay. The entrays were great but the appetizers and the sides were just not very good. We would probably not eat here again but the bar was nice.

The hotel is in a great location, right on the lake. The entrance was very nice and staff was very helpful. The rooms were very cozy and appealing.

We toke our grandchildren up on a quick two day trip and we all enjoyed our stay. The room was all it was supposed to be and more. We had a nice view of the lake and was very satisfied with all the hotel staff we dealt with. I can highly recommend the hotel and will do so to my friends and family.

We went for 4 day weekend & enjoyed every moment. Loved sitting by the fire in the evenings with our dog, drink & good book. Highly recommend the spa! Qualified & friendly staff. We especially enjoyed the Breakfast/room service. Arrived hot! & tasted wonderful. I had the spa breakfast. Will plan to return in the spring & then fall.

“Stress - free staying”

What I loved the most - from the minute I walked into the hotel and they told me internet was free - is the hotel doesn't nickel and dime you to death. They gave me a free toothbrush and the gym, including yoga classes, is free. It's like the way hotels used to be, with great service. Love the place.

“A Beautiful, Quaint & Historic Place to Stay - Right on the Lake!”

Although we're native Southern Californians we'd never been to Lake Arrowhead. My daughter and I traveled to Lake Arrowhead for a short weekend trip and stayed at the Lake Arrowhead Resort on a whim....and Expedia had the best price around! Upon check-in the staff was friendly and helpful. The room was HUGE and super clean (and I'm a big fan of Purell!). The mini bar was one-of-a-kind...I'd never seen one so stocked with various items and so reasonably priced - it was great! Our patio had a nice table & chairs and the sliding glass door actually opened (unlike some hotels where it's just a "fake door"). The bathroom was HUGE with plenty of drawers & counter space. The shampoo, lotions, etc were of good quality. The bed was way super comfortable and we had lots of pillows. We didn't get a chance to visit the pool but it looked wonderful...on a deck overlooking the Lake! I would DEFINITELY stay here again. It's absolutely beautiful. Maybe next time I'd take my husband and leave the kids with grandma! Lake Arrowhead is definitely a romantic, quiet, mellow weekend getaway.
