NOT a comfortable nightPosted Sep 25, 2012
Pros: Ummmm Can't think of one.
Cons: Love seat and bed were hard as a rock. NO padding what-so-ever. HARD HARD HARD
Location: Location was OK. It's in the older part of town, But that's not a bad thing.
The Hotel was actually a cabin. But that is what I expected. What I didn't expect was the discomfort of the cabin. Just one place to sit, and that was a small love seat that may as well have been made out of the pine tree outside the door. The bed was just as hard. I have slept in hard beds before, But this was ridicules. I have bruises on my hips from sleeping on my side. (NOT an exaggeration). The place settings in the kitchen was incomplete. IF we had eaten there we would have had to share a plate and a coffee cup as there was only one of each. The location to eateries, bars, and stores was not bad. But in Big Bear Ca. that's not hard to do. My girl friend and I were on our motorcycles all day and were really looking forward to a nice comfortable night in the pines. DIDN'T HAPPEN!!!! I am not a "softy" I love to camp, hunt, fish and I don't mind ruffing it. But was not expecting to have to this time.

Find another place to stay in big bear lakePosted Jan 2, 2012
Pros: Not one thing
Cons: Old and dirty
Floor was filthy that our white socks were gray after a short time of walking around one tiny room. TV remotes incompatible with the units. Manager said that he would try and find the correct remote but if he did not come back that night , that means he did to find it. We did not see him again. When we checked in, manager felt the sheets under an old looking comforter. He handed us two sheets set implying that we can change the beds ourselves as it was used. The bed and futon was very uncomfortable. One of the doors looked liked it was broken into making us feel unsafe, windows have broken locks as well. I will come back to big bear lake but will find another place to stay.

GREAT TIME....AWESOME FIREPLACE!!!!!Posted Dec 18, 2010
It was a great time. Couple nights away in the cold with a fireplace for the wife's b-day. It met every expectation.

Would definitely stay on my next visit to Big Bear!Posted Dec 15, 2010
This cabin was exceptional! It's nice and cozy.. had a fireplace and a futon in the livingroom. It was very clean and the onsite manager was very nice and attentive.
