Upscale accommodations near the villagePosted Sep 29, 2013
Pros: We liked that our room provided a group setting but allowed folks the privacy of their own room and bathroom, as well as a kitchen for our dinners in.
Location: The village shops are within walking distance so there is plenty of options without having to move your car.
Spent a fall weekend in one of the 3 bedroom / 3 bath rooms. Each bedroom and bath was comfortable and roomy. The main living space included a fully apportioned kitchen, dining room table the easily sat 6, and plenty of lounging room. You will not go wrong if you are looking a more upscale accommodation. Rooms also include a patio/deck space with a gas grill.

THE GOOD LIFEPosted Nov 27, 2012 on Hotels.com
The place was spotless. It had everything you needed to cook , wash and have a great time. It is walking distance to the village and everything else was 5 minutes away. My kids enjoyed the recreation center where they played air hockey and foosball. My 4 year loved the toy room at the rec center. This place was 5 star all the way we cant wait to go back.

This has to be the best place to stay in Big Bear. Great location, walk to town. This place had everything, Viking stove, towel warmers, surround sound stereo, fax machine, WiFi, enclosed garage, sub zero ref and total beautiful inside. You do not want to leave this place. Pool, hot tub, and pool table. This place is wonderful.

HOTEL FROM HELLPosted Aug 22, 2012
Cons: THE WAY THE HOTEL TREATED US
Location: THE LOCATION IS THE ONLY GOOD THING .
well for starters the heater was set at 76 degrees . and called front desk , to get someone to put air conditioning on , and no one could not put air conditioning on . the front desk gave me a old fashion fan to plug in and the front desk replied to open all windows . and could not fix air conditioner . and housekeeping never came to clean untill we were leaving ( meaning when we checked out ) . there was no toilet paper , had to go to market to get toilet paper . if you want to have heater on while it is summer and feel like you are in hell then this is your place .
