Didn't have much time here unfortunately. It was a much longer distance from Yellowstone than we imagined. Unique place that looked like fun. Great food. Would go back.

Typical Montana Ranch hotel

Posted Jul 16, 2014
Great setting. Comfortable accommodations. Breakfast should be varied a bit as it was identical for three days. Dinner was good. We had to go to the office to get more towels and Keurig coffee. The bathroom window did not open or close properly.

Awesome

We rented the 2 bedroom riverfront cabin. It was beautiful inside and out. Beautiful setting w the gallitin river in front and horses pastured behind. We rented the river runs through it by Robert Redford It was filmed on the gallitin. I recommend seeing before or during your stay. The food at the restaurant was delicious! Everything we tried! Breakfast was included and it was a spread! The staff are all friendly and helpful and happy employees. We went on a half day horseback ride and it climbed sunshine mtn to beautiful views! The horses were very well cared for. I would definately stay here again! It was an awesome experience! I also recommend Montana whitewater rafting . It was a great experience!

Perfect log-cabin gataway near Yellowstone

Posted Jul 7, 2014
Pros: Everything!
Cons: Add a second comfortable chair on the porch of each cabin.
Location: Not too far from Big Sky. About 40 minutes from Yellowstone. Good places to eat in Big Sky. Hiking trails at Ousel Falls in Big Sky.
It was the perfect log-cabin gataway in the mountains. We stayed there in a private log cabin while we visited Yellowstone. It's close enough for access to the park but remote enough to be away from the busy tourist areas.

320 Guest Ranch

Posted Jun 24, 2014
Pros: Location, food, staff
Cons: Pillows, bed linen, more effective hot water system
Location: 35 miles outside Yellowstone West entrance into lovely Montana countryside. Horse riding, walking, visiting national parks.
Comfortable Ranch accommodation in semi-detached cabins. Standard is OK but beds and linen are a little tired and the standard of housekeeping could be improved - but they encourage you not to use this by rewarding guests with vouchers if you 'go green' - which is worth it. You will have a problem if you have noisy neighbors who come in late and use all the hot water from the (apparently) shared water tank like we did. The attraction of 320 is the setting which is so pretty and the down-home feel - horse-riding, pig-roasts, cook-outs etc. The real bonus is the outstanding restaurant on site. Big tip is to eat in the saloon bar - same chef, much reduced prices, fabulous meals. A word of warning, this place is about 35 miles outside of the Yellowstone west entrance so it is a bit of a trek in and out every day if you are to use this as a base, but for a ranch holiday it is perfect. Staff are all really lovely and helpful and make an effort for the guests.
