Nice room but too pricey, staff was rude

Posted Jun 23, 2013
Our room was very clean and huge. The beds were comfortable and the furnitures were nice. The room was facing the parking area so there was really no view. We just stayed there for a couple of nights and just need a place to sleep. I think the room was so pricey but there was no vacancy when we were looking for one. The wifi was not working so I called the hotel registration. The man I talked to was rude and hanged up on me without making sure that I had wifi connection. The next day I called again to try and get wifi access. The lady I talked to told me that because of them transitioning to another company, that the rooms at the back side of the hotel are having problem in Internet connection.

Very Nice Complimentary Breakfast

Posted Jun 17, 2013
Pros: Refrigerator and Microwave included.
Cons: Parking lot a little tight.
Location: Yellowstone National Park west entrance right there.
Lots of different choices with a seating area to enjoy an early meal before a trip to Yellowstone NP. However, someone on staff gave my petsitter a hard time about leaving a message for us about a sick cat.

Nice mid-range hotel!

Posted Jun 3, 2013
Pros: clean and comfortable
Location: Perfect launching point for Yellowstone NP
We stayed here the night before as the launching point for our family Yellowstone vacation. If I had to do it all over again, I would have planned all our nights here and skipped the over-priced inside the park accommodations. The town is small and quaint. Very pretty and enjoyable setting. We didn't use the pool, so I can't speak to that. Breakfast was limited, but nice. I do recommend getting down for breakfast before 8am. The staff put out a nice selection, but don't replenish it as it goes. I see why... I saw one mom take 3 pieces of fruit with her after her family ate breakfast. I have a finicky back and am sensitive to worn out mattresses. These were lovely :)

Ok if you need a more affordable place to stay

Posted May 30, 2013
Pros: The location to get to the Yellowstone West entrance was great
Cons: Unsafe lamp/alarm clock wire
Location: Good location close to stores/restaurants and quick to get to the Yellowstone West entrance
I usually book "better" hotels such as Comfort Inn, Holiday Inn, or a Marriott brand, but I didn't want to spend the money this time. I didn't remember to book a 1st floor unit because I usually don't stay at a place that doesn't have an elevator. It was quite a hassle to say the least to get a stroller, a 2 year old, a 3 months old, and all of our things onto the second level, even with two adults. The staff was slow to check us in, unorganized, and seemed stressed. Our room was clean, but one lamp on the wall was crooked and there was something wrong with the wire of the nightstand lamp and alarm clock (they'd go on and off just by touching the wire). This was a pretty uncomfortable situation especially with my 2 year old wanting to explore the room. I didn't bother to ask for another room as I overheard the staff stating that all rooms were booked as I was checking in. I'd stay there again if I really needed to save money, but in any other case I'd book my usual preferred brands.

Disappointing stay

Posted May 29, 2013
Pros: Staff were nice. Free breakfast. Close to Yellowstone.
Cons: Wifi reaches everywhere. Bigger breakfast area.
Location: Great location
The office closes overnight. The continental breakfast is nice, but the space for it is WAY TOO SMALL! The pool area is nice, but you have to go outside to get to the pool. The free wifi only works in the lobby and the pool area, not in our room. The room smelled. The bed was hard.
