Great "little" BW for the price

Posted May 21, 2015
Pros: People at front desk
Cons: Improve layout for managing breakfast. Replace lobby furnature with standing tables with stools. this will give 3 tables for 12-18 added eating places
Location: Nice restuarants, grocery store for supplies, well lighted walking area along town streets, felt safe walking at night. Park entrance real close.
Check-in was a breeze. Personable reception at front desk. Took time to answer my questions about what town offered with respect to food, groceries, and yellowstone. Pool and spa were not big enough to meet the needs of the potential number of patrons. Breakfast spread was standard, good selection. Cramped for quarters though for the breakfast rush. As I said great "little" Best Western for the price.

Right Next To Entrance of Park

Posted May 19, 2015
Pros: Breakfast and location.
Cons: Wireless access
Location: A gas station, souvenir shops and multiple restaurants are all within walking distance as well as the west park entrance of Yellowstone.
The hotel's location was excellent for access to the west entrance of Yellowstone. The hotel staff, when we arrive, seemed as though they were less than thrilled to be working that day. Needless to stay, the overall condition of the property we well kept. That is, until we got to the room. The room itself was spacious (two queen room); however, the fridge did not work, which we didn't notice until the following morning when the creamer we were going to use in the coffee was room temperature. The cooling/heating unit did not work and we had to pry open the window to get some fresh air. The "wireless" access did not favor any better than the fridge and AC system. Could not connect 98% of the time and when I did, I was only able to stay connected for two to three minutes. But I wasn't too concerned as you’re not there to enjoy the room. Breakfast was by far the best amenity of this property with such a variety to choose from. I would stay here again for the breakfast (need to fuel before a long day in the park) and the location.

nice size rooms - small bathroom

Posted May 7, 2015
Pros: breakfast was awesome and room size was really nice
Cons: comfort of bed and don't have the bathroom door open into the small bathroom
Location: right near the park and plenty of food options and supermarkets nearby.
We stayed in a room with two queen beds which was quite roomy. The bathroom was on the small side (I wish the door didn't open into the bathroom and it would have been perfect.) The room was clean and everything seemed to work except the bathroom fan. I thought the beds were nice, but my wife said she slept pretty poorly on them. The indoor pool was awesome for the kids and the breakfast was very good. I liked that some of the breakfast items were available all day.

Our room was quite nice. The price was reasonable. The staff was friendly and helpful. Our dogs were welcome without a hassle. The breakfast was ample. The one down side was that our room was above the pool, and we could clearly hear the kids playing there until closing time at 10.

Nice family break

Posted Apr 24, 2015
We stayed 3 nights and 2 days and were extremely happy with the cleanliness of our room. We stayed on the first floor next to the pool. Breakfast was great they had a lot of options they offered scrambled eggs, biscuits, french toast, cereal, bagels, toast, yogurt, apples, fruit in a cup, muffins, danish, oatmeal, juices, coffee, tea and hot chocolate. It did get a little crowded towards the end cuz everyone shows up in those last 15 minutes they did run out of tables but from what I could tell never out of food. The staff was great and friendly. One thing I didn't enjoy was that the people staying in the room across from ours would leave their dog in the room while they weren't there. So whenever anyone would walk down the hall the dog would be barking at the other side of the door you could almost feel his breath coming from underneath, it spooked my son and me a few times. If you know your dog gets agitated when alone you probably shouldn't leave them in your room. There were other guests with dogs on the same floor but didn't hear a peep out of them. Overall we really enjoyed our stay and were very happy to have chosen this hotel. Will definitely be recommending to family and friends.

Conveniently located, great breakfast, watch price

Posted Oct 6, 2013
Pros: Place was clean and nice. Great breakfast, nice staff, conveniently located to west entrance of Yellowstone.
Cons: They need to have Expedia quotes with them!!
Location: Great -- Yellowstone NP
Place was clean and nice. Great breakfast, nice staff, conveniently located to west entrance of Yellowstone. However, their price did not agree with what we had through Expedia. Unfortunately, I only found my paperwork after we left -- it was a difference of about $25 (about $12 a night). Not too big a deal and not sure it's worth us doing anything about it. But, it was annoying.
