Nice hotel - horrible restaurant

Posted Jul 9, 2014
Pros: The staff was very kind. The room was fine.
Cons: the restaurant food was horrible and overly priced.
Location: The location is why we booked. very nice location
It was a very nice hotel - the restaurant was HORRIBLE. Four of us ordered four different meals and they were all HORRIBLE. We paid over $100 for horrible food. Rest of the experience was pleasant.

Older adequate hotel.

Posted Jul 3, 2014
Pros: Location
Cons: Staff knowledge. Business center computers. Breakfast menu.
Location: Yrllowstone National Park nearby.
Staff was inconsistent with responses. Different answers to questions depending on whom you ask. More operations training or more seasoned staff would help. Business center computers difficult to operate. Breakfast menu was minimal. Overall experience good.

Rocky first start but ended up excellent

Posted Jul 1, 2014
Came in late from a very long day of driving. Spent 2 1/2 hours in the lobby trying to get our room that I had booked months ago. Hotel was completely booked. After an hour they finally figured out they had given our room to a family that mistakenly came in a day too early. (the hotel clerk should have checked what day it was-but I am sure he will from now on or at least I would hope so) They had to ask the family to move out and move to another hotel. I felt bad for the family. We then waited for them to clean room. We finally got into our room around 11:30 p.m. We had to get up very early the next day which kind of messed us up but from then on it was great. The hotel made up for it completely. We had a great dinner in their restaurant. Everything was wonderful. If it wasn't for the mess up when checking in I would have given it a higher score.

Horrible stay at the end of hall on first floor.

Posted Jun 29, 2014
We didn't sleep well since the exit door was next to our room and it continued to slam all night and all morning. There were maintenance people working to try to fix it since others complained as well. Not happy with stay since we were on the road driving all day and tired and didn't get much sleep due to the broken, loud slamming exit door. Also, the two maintenance works began working on it at 8 am and they were slamming it as well. Would have felt more rested sleeping in our car.

Sleepless in HolidayInn

Posted Jun 9, 2014
Pros: Staff
Cons: See above.
Location: Yellowstone.
Booked two rooms for three days. Staff is friendly and helpful. Rooms were clean and well serviced. BUT this motel is the noisiest I have ever experienced in 40 years of traveling. The doors all slam with shattering impact and the room ceilings allow every noise above to disturb your sleep. The third floor may be ok with the ceiling issue, but book elsewhere.

convient location.

Posted Jun 3, 2014
Pros: convient location, it's very close to west entrance.
Cons: Microwave, TV probably. May need more outlet between beds.
Location: Visited to north site yellowstone, it is very close by, and short distance to east side of Yellowstone.
Great experiences, family suit is very nice, spacious. But microwave wasn't good at all. Probably needs to replace it, Needs 5-6 mins to warm up a cup of water.
