The town of West Yellowstone was fun: good restaurants and shops. Lots to do in town. Very close to entrance bog Yellowstone.

A little disappointing...

Posted Sep 8, 2014
Pros: In a good location and within walking distance to town.
Cons: Prioritize customer needs and stop dropping the ball.
Location: Close to the Grizzly museum and all of the shops on the main street. Many places to eat and grocery stores close by as well.
Not what I expected for the price. Older furnishings and the TV couldn't be hooked up to a DVD player to watch movies. Several calls were made and many people came to the room but nothing was resolved. The maintenance man told us all the TVs are crap. Nothing was offered to remedy the situation.

Good location. Nice drive to Old Faithful.

Posted Aug 30, 2014
Pros: Location. Employees.
Cons: Restaurant food could be better and making sure rooms don't smell badly.
Location: Restaurants, shopping, great place to stroll. Centrally located as drives to different parts of Yellowstone weren't more than a 2 hour drive.
Restaurant food not the best, but plenty of restaurants within walking distance. Restaurant closest to hotel, (Three Bears) was excellent. We got a parking ticket ($20) because our front wheels were on the sidewalk (no curbs) so be careful. Unfortunately, one of our rooms had stale cigarette odor and it was a smoke-free hotel. Very disappointing, but hotel staff did a great job in trying to resolve the problem. However, because we booked with Expedia they were limited on what the could do.

Disappointed, overpriced for sure. No free breakfast and the restaurant was terrible.

Overpriced

Posted Aug 17, 2014
This is overall a nice hotel but the nightly rates are way too high. We stayed in family suite style and it was large, spacious, and well layed out. The bathroom was very nice with a nice walk in shower. Also, the beds were comfortable. The work out facility was pitiful and the hot tub was a good 10 degrees colder than it should have been. For the price we paid for the room we would have thought we would have gotten a free continental breakfast, but instead it was $14 per person which is way over priced. We stayed here the night we left Yellowstone. I would recommend traveling a little further away from the park (maybe a half hour) and stay at a different hotel for much cheaper.

Very comfortable and clean hotel

Posted Aug 17, 2014
Pros: The suites have 2 separate bathrooms and a separate bedroom. Ideal to stay here when traveling with a large family or group.
Location: Very close to the Yellowstone National park. Probably the closest town to the entrance of the park when compared to all the entrances.
The Holiday Inn at West was very comfortable and clean and very close to the Yellowstone National Park West entrance. Very friendly staff. We will definitely stay here again the next time we go there!
