Gov shutdownPosted Oct 10, 2013
Gov shutdown ruined our plans and hotel reservations in the park. Stayed in W Yellowstone in hopes of a resolution. The Inn was nearly empty but the staff was friendly and helpful in spite of their difficult position. They gave us info on alternative activities and the drive around Hebgin lake was fantastic.

Overnight Stay Visiting YellowstonePosted Sep 29, 2013
Pros: The staff made sure that everyone in our party had a great time from making a fire to make s'mores at night to reservations at a local restaurant.
Cons: I cannot not think of any improvements.
Location: We did not have a chance to see or do anything since it was a quick overnight stay.
We stayed at the hotel one night during a quick weekend trip to Yellowstone National Park. This is the off season for Big Sky and the hotel staff made sure we had a great time during our visit. The rooms are large and the several of our party, including myself, thought the beds were very comfortable. Everyone enjoyed the breakfast selection in the morning. Check in/out was quick.

more than visiting MoosePosted Sep 21, 2013
Pros: Everything.... indoor swimming pool/gym/ wonderful hot breakfast in front of enormous picture window showcasing Lone Mountain & visiting wildlife
Like the moose visiting the 'pasture' on the other side of the brick wall I enjoyed the outdoor ambience. The jacuzzi/barbeque area and view of Lone Peak & walking to the lake was great as well as the indoor jacuzzi. The pyramid-like Lone Peak had just been dusted with snow enhancing the incredible view greeting us as arrived thru the front doors. I will return as had only one day before leaving Montana and that not nearly long enough ! Big Sky here I come....after the winter season.

Great hotel terrible breakfast. Powdered coffee.Posted Sep 17, 2013
Cold cardboard pancakes, rubber biscuits. Totally low labor per packaged food. Had better at a $40/night motel.

Looks were deceiving !Posted Sep 16, 2013
Pros: Beautiful location
Cons: Beds need to be updated with new mattress.
I was very impressed with the hotel upon entering the lobby. It was clean and very impressive, but that soon changed upon entering our room. The mattress were very hard and very thin, looked like something that you would find on a pull out couch for the mattress. The bedding was very outdated and worn. Not somewhere I would ever go back to to stay. We were on a two week vacation during this time and stayed at several hotels, this by far was the worst, actually it was the only one.

Very comfortable stay.Posted Sep 10, 2013
Cons: The carpet needs to be cleaned....a lot of spots.
Location: Golf was great. Good choice in restaurants within walking distance.
We we t to Big Sky to play golf and check out the area as a possible winter destination. The Lodge was very nice. The room was very spacious and comfortable. The desk staff was extremely helpful in helping us choose a restaurant for dinner. Breakfast in the atrium with a spectacular view was awesome. I would definitely recommend this hotel.
