Good location for pet-friendly stay

Posted Jul 27, 2015
The room and service were "OK;" nothing great but adequate. Cost was high, but perhaps par for the course in the summer. The b'fasts were pretty good. Pool looked fun but was always crowded w/kids. Room was essentially clean. The fact that we could have the dogs was a plus and it was very conveniently located to Big Sky, our destination.

Overpriced

Posted Jul 24, 2015
This was an average hotel, with no views charging outrageous fees even when compared to far greater accommodations 7 miles away at 320 Guest Ranch.I expected more.

Nice rooms!!!!

Posted Jul 23, 2015
Not enough seating for breakfast. 20 seats for 3 floors of rooms. Toaster that was not good...how much would a new one be at home depot. Staff on phone seating on worktop. No gloves after emptying trash and 're stocking bagels.

Not bad for the price. Room for improvement

Posted Jul 18, 2015
Pros: Price / quality ratio
Cons: The staff: - A 12 pm checkout (tandard for most hotels I've stayed in) wasn't too much to ask and they refused. - Cleaning staff did a poor job
Location: It's on the road, away from the town itself (10 min drive). There's nothing to do within walking distance.
I just needed a place to stay after visiting Yellowstone, and before flying back home. For the first time in years, I was denied a late checkout (checkout time was 11 am). I was told that they couldn't allow me to stay until noon because they needed time to clean the room before the new guest arrives. Fair enough... until I realized what "cleaning" means to them. There was hair in the tub, and the overall cleanliness was below standard. The room was ok and the hotel has an indoor pool. I would have rated it significantly higher if the staff were better.

Pros: beautiful setting right beside the mountains
Location: We visited Yellowstone National Park. What a great place to see.
This was a nice place to stay. Big Sky is beautiful. W stayed here and visited YNP for 3 days.It is about a 45 minutes ride to the west entrance. Highly recommended.

Whitewater had an issue with water pump so they upgraded me to another hotel in the area. This was very considerate.

Beautiful Place noisy environment

Posted Jun 25, 2015
Pros: The room was very clean and easy to get too.
Cons: Insulation between the rooms
Big Sky Montana, what could be better than that, right. The Whitewater Inn while very clean, is way stop for tourist buses, meaning lots of noise. They need to invest in some better door closing technology. The doors slammed all night long, in our poorly insulated 3rd floor room with no elevator. Now that we have been to Big Sky we will be coming back often and staying elsewhere.
