Not Happy with Yellowstone Country InnPosted Oct 1, 2013 on Hotels.com
We paid ~$200. The floors were filthy, no fan in the bathroom, no outlet by sink, extension cords used for microwave and refrigerator.

Uncomfortable bedsPosted Sep 29, 2013
Walking distance to downtown, looks nice from the outside, rooms however are very dated and beds extremely hard and uncomfortable. So much so that my partner chose to sleep on the floor! Also, I felt that the price we paid was far to much for the room. I would not suggest staying here.

I wouldn't recommend this motel.Posted Sep 28, 2013
Pros: It was quiet.
Cons: It could be torn down and turned into a parking lot.
Location: West Yellowstone is a gateway to Yellowstone National Park.
The nicest thing I can say about this motel is it was quiet. It started by walking into the hallway where ceiling was leaking into the stairwell. The paneling in the room and the hall was of the cheap 70's style. The subfloor was springy when you stepped on it. The ceiling in the room was sagging ominously. In the bathroom the pedestal sink was not attached to the pedestal so it threatened to fall off every time it was touched. To quiet the pipes the maintenance crew stuffed toilette paper in the space around the pipes. (see picture) The screws were coming out of the drywall and the baseboard was coming away from the wall. The caulking was whatever was on hand. I counted three different colors in the bathroom. My youngest child could do a better job on the maintenance with a pair of pliers and a bottle of school glue. The hot water and the heat had one thing in common. It was either too hot or too cold. Nothing in the middle. We are from a town 90 miles away and I was a motel health inspector 25 years ago. I was shocked at this motel in a tourist town. This motel was overpriced in any market.

Disappointing accommodationPosted Sep 26, 2013
Location: Reason for choosing this hotel was because of location to Yellowstone National Park
1) Drastically over priced 2) Dirty bedding 3) Desk clerk very difficult to communicate 4) Expedia fee $158.00 actual cost $111.00 5) We have extensive travel experience USA and abroad first time using Expedia and very very disappointed.

Worst hotel I have stayed inPosted Sep 20, 2013
Cons: New management that cares
The showers tiles were coming off the side wall, the ceilings paint was crumbling, the TV had just a few channels and was very outdated, the drawers were missing handles. No ice machine. The only way this hotel stays in business is because West Yellowstone vacancy is almost zero at this time of year

could do betterPosted Sep 16, 2013 on Hotels.com
No microwave in the lobby or common area was disappointing. Most hotels at least have that. Pay a little more and stay at a better place.
