“What are you expecting?”

Upon reading the other reviews, I felt I had to write one. I am not sure what the other visitors were expecting but we were quite satisfied with our stay. The rooms were made up everyday and it was clean and well kept. When we arrived we noticed a problem with the refridgerator in our room and a replacement was brought immediately. It was quiet and the town is so small you can walk anywhere you want to go. If you are expecting 4 star hotels you won't find it in this town.

“Remodelling”

The hotel is being remodeled and upgraded. We had an older room whose appearance was disconcerting; however, once past the visual, it was comfortable. The hotel staff was quick and responsive to problems as well as very courteous which also made the stay more enjoyable.

“Off season can be busy”

This was a good choice for us. A tad expensive, but since just outside YNP all the motels have inflated prices. At first glance there seems to be lots of dining and drinking places, but we found few with good atmosphere, available seats and good prices.

“Good Place for the money”

Good place to stay on a budget. We were looking for a clean place to sleep for the night and this hotel fits the bill.

“not impressed”

The motel is old and they are trying to improve it but they have a way to go. But if you need to save it is good.

“A place to sleep”

This place was something to sleep in for a night, but not someplace I would spend a lot of time at. The bathroom had a toilet that ran all night and a bathroom with no blinds that faced east. There is one plug for the microwave, fridge, and coffee maker. Finally the pillows were not comfortable. I spent one night there before camping in Yellowstone.

“Good Location, Quiet Nights Rest, Older motel”

The hotel was older and is in need of some repair and updating, but it was a quiet night's sleep and very close to Yellowstone. Our room had a small refrigerator and a microwave. The lobby clerk was nice to us and the log cabin look to the exterior was charming. Looks like they were working on the pool and getting it ready for the summer season.

“Great Location”

The staff at this hotel were great. The rooms were clean, but not maintained. Loose tiles in the bathroom floor, no screens. Wireless internet never worked, too weak of a signal. Pool was dirty. However, if you are on a strict budget, it is liveable.
