“YELLOWSTONE PARK INN AND SUITES”
Not impressed at all. The beds are very uncomfortable, I think sleeping on the floor would of been better. The plumbing in the hotel needs to be seriously looked at, the water goes from scorching hot to super cold with no warning. The hotel staff were not friendly. I would not recommend staying there.
“very misleading”
i was under the impression that this hotel had a air condition in each room, it wasn't until i was there that i figured out that there was not any air condition in any room. it was very hot and my family and i couldn't sleep. the web site said that they air condition, when they cleary did not. we had to try and find another hotel in the middle of our trip. they did nothing to try and make up for the lack of air condition. they also have down that they are a 1 and half star hotel and i wouldn't even give them any. the property was very trashy and run down. i can't believe what they were charging for that place. the stuff that they have under there amenities should be redone because most of it isn't true. i will not ever give that hotel name to any family or friends.
“Leaky bathroom - Broken air conditioner - Sleepless night”
The hotel manager did not respond to any of these issues. The bathroom from the room above leaked into mine when that person took a shower. The air conditioner in my room did not work. The coffee pot in my room had a crack in it. The hotel is of wood construction, I heard the person above me walking around every 15 to 20 minutes all night long....NO SLEEP!!! I did not get what I went there for, to sleep, get clean, and continue my trip. WORST PLACE THAT I EVER STAYED.
“Unbelievably Disappointing”
From questions not answers to the phone going unanswered from 9am-4pm to the afternoon attendants facinationnwith his cell phone, this hotel has no clue what service is. The room was shabby and the air conditioner not functioning. Lastly are the infamous tour buses attendees, gone uncontrolled. If you are after sleep, stay away.
“I SHOULD HAVE LISTENED TO THE BAD REVIEWS”
I shouldve listened to the other reviews in Trip Advisor and other sites. This place is a dump with really bad staff. The manager conducts her business and personal life from the same counter. She had all her friends come to hang out with her and her new born baby at the entrance of the hotel/motel/hostel (call it what you want). We were first placed in a room that had someone in it already. Then we asked for a fridge and the manager in a rude way said NO MORE ROOMS with fridges (geez, sorry for asking). It says on their site that these are upon request. The outlets in the room didnt work. They advertise for coupons to help the customers get local discounts but we asked every day and they had a different excuse for why they were out. The pool is more like a hole in the ground. The hot tub is actually bigger. They had damaged old appliances blocking the stairwell (talk about a fire hazard). For what we paid, I wouldve enjoyed more camping out and roughing it. IT IS NOT WORTH PENNEY TO STAY THERE. BE AWARE!!!
“Not impressed”
When we drove up and saw the broken and boarded up windows, I thought to myself this must have just happend and they just have not had time to fix them. Then we walked in as saw that the pool was empty in the middle of summer. The only good thing I have to say is that the rooms were clean and when we checked in the clerk at the front desk was nice.
“Yellowstone Inn”
This hotel was extremely expensive for the quality it deserves. Corridors and swimming pool are not cleaned. Maintenance area are always open ! No internet access in the rooms and only a small bandwith in the lobby. No breakfast included ! Nevertheless I recommend the bar in the hotel (but independant) The Slippery Otter Pub. The owner is very easy going !! The only advantage of this hotel is its location near the National Park but a lot of other hotels are also present.
“Not a place to relax - forget this one”
The hotel room originally given stunk, no bathroom vent or fan; bed were old and lumpy, door not secure. I complained and was lied to by the desk clerk at first - no rooms available, she said, this is after I overheard her quote 3 rooms to a caller who did not seem interested after the bad attitude. To make long story short, got a better room and stayed there for 3 days. This is a delapidated hotel that needs about a year's worth of renovation. Everything is bad, except the cooking of the one-man show in the kitchen. Badly run business that needs infusion of cash and staff overhaul. Horrible.
“A substandard hotel”
We got a key for a room already occupied. We were give another room, after embarrassing and being embarrassed by being placed in this situation. The door in the new room was hard to open. The room was smelly. The TV had only 4 channels. We counted the secondss to leave the hotel in the morning. It the main reason we shortened our visit to Yellowstone
