Would stay there again

This was one of the more expensive hotels on our trip, but worth the extra. Accommodation and facilities were very good, and nice to have to option of a swim or jacuzzi at the end of the day. Good choice for breakfast, good location.

Nice Place to Stay

Posted Sep 20, 2013
Pros: Typical, but good, breakfast
Cons: More dining space
Location: at edge of city, so had to drive into town for dinner or any shopping.
Newly updated, clean and comfortable. Room was very roomy with small table, desk, small couch, and beds. Liked that there was nice counter space with the small kitchenette. No real reasons not to stay here - a little off the main path, so had to drive into town. Couch was a little hard. And why, oh why, do motels put hooks at the top of a 7 ft. door? I can't reach that, and so it's of no use to me (and would like to use it). Also, dining room was too small for the number of people staying; we couldn't even sit in the dining room, it was always overcrowded. But the hotel itself was very nice. We were there for 3 nights. Had plenty of space to spread out in the room. And the room was quiet, despite the number of people who stay there. I would stay there again and would recommend.

Overpriced. Small room. Capitalizing on location

Posted Sep 20, 2013
Service and accommodations were disappointing after paying overpriced rates. Small room with wall AC unit that had no controls to regulate air flow A vent deflector that was stationary directed all cold air (the heat system is separate)straight across the bed. Mattress and pillows were soft and lumpy. Front desk recommendation for dining was a scary diner. Drive a little further. Do not get "ripped off"

Nice room, staff extremely helpful.

We had a great room with two queen beds, couch, fridge, microwave, and extra sink. Granite countertops. Staff was very helpful with directions, suggestions for meals, etc. Mary Lou was especially friendly and helpful in the continental breakfast area.

Yellowstone visit, August 2013

Posted Aug 20, 2013
Pros: Everything was fine.
Cons: Breakfast area was crowded. Hotel should offer turkey links or patties to guests who do not eat pork for health or religious reasons.
Location: Struck me as a small town, so mainly Yellowstone National Park is the attraction. Small, local restaurants withing easy walking distance.
This hotel is in a quiet zone of West Yellowstone, and very close to the West gate of Yellowstone National park. It is a good alternative to, say, "the Old Faithful Inn" where we also stayed but was not able to get the number of nights we needed as it gets booked up very quickly. The hotel was recently rennovated, so it was clean and updated. I think it was a small suite we got - it was spacious and comfortable. Staff were polite and responsive. Experienced a bit of wifi trouble, but it got resolved.

Yellowstone experience

Posted Aug 14, 2013
Pros: Location is close to park entrance
Cons: Price but we all know that is not going to happen.
Location: The hotel is to far from main street to walk to so it requires a short drive and hunt for parking spot. Town is fun with lots of shops.
Expected a nicer hotel. The price is way to high for what you get. Have stayed in 5 star hotels for less money. The staff was extremely nice and the room was small but clean.

Would never return

Posted Aug 14, 2013
Pros: Nothing
Cons: Better staff, and a quieter room
Staff behind the reception counter just did not care. Tried to get dinner suggestions etc - very uninformed and simply could have cared less. Air conditioner kept us awake all night - it was terrible. And again, no body cared

Fairly decent hotel

Posted Aug 7, 2013
Cons: Size of the toiletries and quality of coffee
Location: I would highly recommend the Cafe Madriz and West Gate Pizzeria for dinner spots.
Decent hotel close to yellowstone west entrance. Stayed for 4 nights. A bit pricey for a hotel of this quality but that is tied to supply and demand. Hotel is located on the edge of the town but a short distance from all the restaurants etc. Hotel had continental breakfast with typical selections. Kids really enjoyed the indoor pool which is open till late, I believe 11pm. Overall, nice place to crash

We thought we were booking with a Comfort Inn.

Posted Aug 1, 2013
Location: It's West Yellowstone!!!
The air conditioning wasn't working in our room but other than that the room was clean and modern. Breakfast was great (above average) and the pool was good, employees were great. A bit pricey.

Exceptional Hotel at Yellowstone's west entrance

Posted Jul 26, 2013
Pros: Everything was excellent, my expectations were exceeded, parking was adequate, the room was spacious, beds were comfortable and breakfast was great!
Cons: Nothing come to mind.
Location: West Yellowstone Montana, west entrance to Yellowstone Park, enough said.
Great room, clean, comfortable and spacious with excellent breakfast choices. Wonderful staff professional, friendly and knowledgeable. They went out of our way to please. Would highly recommend this Hotel.
