Fine for overnight on business.Posted Sep 20, 2013
Comfy bed, good hot shower. Only negatives were not enough sockets for computer phone etc charging, and bathroom ceiling Covered in mildew. Oh, and it rained, but that's Scotland!-

Unexpectedly impressed.Posted Sep 13, 2013
Pros: Comfy bed and room was quiet.
Was expecting a lot less and was pleasantly surprised when the facilities were clean and comfortable. The pre-ordered breakfast delivered to your room was an added bonus.

Hotel near BiggarPosted Sep 2, 2013
Pros: As above.
Cons: Make the entire building non-smoking.
Location: Convenient for BIggar.
Clean and convenient for one night/short stay. Executive room was spacious and bed very comfortable. We did not like having to walk past the smoking rooms to get to it.

one night stayPosted Sep 1, 2013
Pros: I liked the staff and the location
Cons: Wi-Fi and TV reception
Location: The rest area was in a good location , next to food and gas station. I liked the list of carry out places next to the phone.
We had a good stay, There were two things that went wrong. The Wi-Fi was going on and off. The same as the TV. Asked the front desk about the little problem. They contributed to the bad weather. Like I said it was a little problem. I would stay at this hotel the staff was very friendly and helpful.

Good location just off the motorway, unlike many service station hotels this was a quiet location and I was abloe to sleep with a window open.

Excellent stayPosted Jul 27, 2013
Pros: clean and comfortable.
Cons: Room key cards were affected when next to mobile phone rubbing room lock details off. Had to get this restored at check in desk. Not the hotels fault.
Location: Abingdon services just off the M74. Easy to get to. Close to Biggar.
Only stayed here for one night but it was very nice. Staff were cheerful and helpful during check-in, check-out and any other meetings including delivery of breakfast to the rooms. (Breakfast cost extra but it was everything we required for approximately £5). Rooms were clean and tidy, though very hot even with the windows open (weather was very hot but it usually cools at night! and there was no heating on). I know this is not the hotels fault but perhaps air conditioning or a fan in each room could be available. Good sized rooms which included a double bed, sofa and en-suite. Not what I was expecting from a services hotel so excellent.

Great value for moneyPosted Jul 20, 2013 on Hotels.com
Great place if only the Welcome Break is not very family friendly when it comes to kids menu e.g. my 7year old daughter didn't want anything off the kids menu which was very limited but wanted the lasagne off the main. No child portions only adults at £6.99. Disgraceful !!!!
